Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
John Farnham is to Australian pop music as The Mahaan is to Indian restaurants in Farnham. Housed in delightful Georgian premises on the town centre’s East Street, The Mahaan’s infamy among local spiceheads is all down to the specialist chefs working hard in the kitchen to bring the flavours of the subcontinent alive for each and every diner, in each and every dish. The Mahaan uses lean meat and fresh vegetables sourced locally, and the spice blends and culinary expertise that comes with years of experience creating Indian cuisine. Although the restaurant can fit up to 80 people – making it great for functions and private dining parties – an advance reservation is recommended.
Spent a week in Farnham and tried the Tuesday night banquet night at The Mahaan. Very happy with the food, service and prices, would recommend!
As usual had a wonderful meal, the Staff very helpful. It was busy so had a nice atmosphere. Would recommend a Tuesday or Wednesday buffet night, as freshly made and excellent value for money.
Aa early Friday evening. Ran out of wine and no dessert. Poppadomes were soft Chicken was tough and tasted the same whatever it was cooked in.
