Needed more staff at the time or should have stopped taking bookings. Bar was full of glasses that needed washing but no one was available to do this.

The young man who served us was lovely. But we went on the hottest day and I was melting whilst eating. I had the fish and chips but wish I'd asked for fish and salad

We booked a table outside for 8:30pm. We got there at 8:30pm and had to join a queue where we waited for 10-15 mins only to be told we couldn’t have a table outside. We then waited another 30 mins for our first drinks order to be taken. When this was eventually taken we were told there would be a wait for the drinks to arrive. Trying to get a 2nd drink was just as much of a challenge. There were too many people and not enough staff. Overall not impressed.

The staff were friendly and they kindly adapted a child dish for our rather picky daughter.

The food was very nice and although we booked an indoor table the weather had turned nice so they seated us outside. The staff were very pleasant, but the only downside was that there wasn’t enough of them and it took ages to make a drink order and ages for it to come. One order took 15 mins just for drinks.

We had to wait an hour to get our starters and when they came they weren’t as explained on the menu (blue cheese chicken wings) turned up as very chilli sauce chicken wings. We ate them because did not wish to wait longer. 2:30pm on a Fathers Day Sunday with no roast beef! So we ordered roast chicken which to be be fair was served very quickly after the starters and it was very good. The service is very slow and the staff seem inexperienced or uninterested. Had to ask for the cutlery when I got my main course and then had to wait for about 3 minutes to get it with the food going cold as we were on an outside table. Why not have a ‘waiter station’ outside with so many outdoor tables?! I know I’ve had better from the Malthouse before so maybe it was an off day. Would still go back because the ambience is nice. Just have to be more careful cos they can lose customers.

Food was nice and the service was very good, the lad who served us was friendly.

We had Sunday lunch waited over an hr for food. No kruit no mustard had to wait for this after our meal finally arrived

Once the booking was found the experience was great and made very pleasant by the table served food and beverages. It was a little cool, but good to be out and about again

Decided to spend my birthday meal here and absolutely devastated. Kids as bartenders ! Ignored for 20 minutes for drinks when he said they would be right back...then spilt wine all over my friend ...then food came..no cutlery..had to wait another 8 mins for that after repeating can I have some ..finally came and food order wrong..icing on the cake ! ...we even gave some cutlet ro table opposite who had food going cold as well and no cutlery either as felt sorry for them too ! ...really really exceptionally bad bad service no apologies just attitude . Not good enough malthouse at all !

Most places are getting back on there feet so it wouldn't be fair to be too critical

Food good. Not so happy with the table we had. Too close to the door, many people in and out.

Food, as always was amazing. However service was a bit slow, and our table was in a very dark, dingy corner. Won’t stop us returning as food was lovely.

Waited 15 ni acknowledgement at all a family told us it toom 35mins to get a drink so we left. Poor slow service.

Felt totally safe all covid rules followed you staff. Pub was busy but that was explained when we arrived. Service was quicker than they said, food was great good value for money

The staff were very well organised, friendly and helpful. Food was lovely, I had the belly pork, ans sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was huge. Think i should of had just that. lo
