We were a party of 5 for lunch - we all thought the various dishes we had were amazing, can’t remember having such an excellent meal in the Southend area for years! It was delicious and you could not fault the service.

I had heard mixed reviews about The Med and I decided I wanted to try it for myself. I was pleasantly surprised, the food was outstanding, portions perfect and our waiter couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

Spent 3hrs enjoying Sunday lunchtime with great food, ambience,service + lovely \ appropriate singer. Not rushed and made to feel special. Varied aged clientele and approachable staff across the board. We're not easily impressed {experience over postcode 😂} but The Med deserves to succeed.

We had a great time food was lovely. But the only thing I would say is more discretion on your menu. To let you no what you are ordering

We went as our wedding anniversary treat for the Sunday roast, and were really impressed, the food was delicious, service great and the live singer was brilliant. Totally recommend and we will be back!

Lovely food, lovely decor, staff very friendly and helpful. Only gripe being my son has a nut allergy and wasn’t expecting pistachio ice cream to arrive, was told it was chocolate strawberry and vanilla, wasn’t asked about any allergies. Music was varied but loud for dinner atmosphere.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast here today! The singer was AMAZING. The restaurant caters well for Vegetarians and the staff are lovely. Will definitely be visiting again soon. 🙂

There were 2 very pleasant and friendly waiting staff. They brought out a lovely dessert with a candle and singing for my husband's birthday.

Enjoyable afternoon. Air conditioning was too cold whilst eating. Needed place mats the china plates move on the marble tables whilst you are eating.

the staff didnt no if they were coming or going,our starters turned up not together but about 15 mins apart, asked for coffee at the end of our meal and that took about 20 mins and when it turned up , I asked for sugar and that never turned up , so I asked for the bill , payed and left

We went on Saturday evening and found the staff attentive & friendly. The setting & atmosphere was great. Our food was excellent & prices were on par with this style of restaurant. We will be eating at The Med again.

Excellent food - Starters of the void Meze were great came with hot pitta bread - delicious Main dishes of mixed shish was amazing Wgu burger was nice but had chilli sauce inside Which was a little to spicy - we mentioned to the manageress who took it onboard WebScript no room for dessert! We were offered a shot on the house which was a very kind gesture! All in all had a lovely evening - the manageress Olivia was very good she listened to our feedback and was a very pleasant young lady - with very good people’s skills -

Lovely food and the waitress’s were very friendly and service was very smooth.

An ok visit, pleasant staff but still some early teething problems as some basics were slow, but sadly food is overpriced for what is served. Signature beef ragu for £19 is just mince when should be better quality beef, mixed shish is just 6 pieces of meat and basic salad for £22, no rice or side, chips are £6 or £9, sadly many other options at better prices so think they may need to rethink either what’s on the plate or price points.

Tables too close together, felt as if I was dining with strangers. Music far too loud for dining. Waiting staff friendly but slow service.

We had our anniversary meal here and had a lovely evening. Food, service and drinks were excellent.

Arrived on time greeted with a smile and taken to a table then offered a drink. Next the table was laid with napkin and menu We ordered a starter duck salad ,main fish dish sish and salad then baclava. All food wasp very enjoyable would recommend this new restaurant go on try it soon
