Service felt a little muddled and slow to start with, but we did arrive when it was peak lunchtime and overall the service was good. Food was delicious and portion sizes were immense - for a carvery, we were really impressed. Only downside was we were asked if we wanted pigs in blankets as they weren’t on the carvery self service, which we of course said yes to, but we weren’t aware there was an extra charge for them. Overall a great experience and definitely value for money.

Tasty carvery, good size portions, plenty of choice, will be back

Nine of our family went for a carvery to celebrate two birthdays. The food was lovely and the service was good and all staff very helpful. I was pleased to see how busy it was, lots of others enjoying their meals and the atmosphere. It was quite noisy but only with the sound of families and friends chatting. Will definitely go back as we all really enjoyed ourselves.

Wonderful to go back after covid 19 restriction eased, food was great, staff fantastic, nice feel about the place but carvery was a little cold, will go again, maybe try the original menu next time.

Food was great and as Much as you want but they did forget to take our drink order so after 15 mins I prompted them , but all the girls were very busy .. would recommend the carvery

The Sunday lunch was amazing. So good infact, l booked a table next month. Good food, great value for money.

The outdoor area had been set up so you could go in any weather, although there is no heating, no need to go inside on arrival, as the table has booking name already on them. Lovely staff, warm atmosphere, and fantastic food. Definitely recommend

We had a carvery. Quick service , nice pub,,excellent food.

Told food was ready, then queued you when we at times were in the way so could have sat at table. Slow asking if we wanted dessert. Food was delicious - friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back.

Really disappointing! Food and service Very poor on this occasion - a family celebration but not a great experience. Drinks took ages. Think we were forgotten and when food eventually arrived it was dried out and unpleasant. Shame as we had used take takeaway service during lockdown and are keen to support local business.
