Lovely food and made to feel very welcome. The cocktails were also fantastic! Lovely atmosphere and a great place to eat. We'll definitely be back!

Great food, great service. Love this place, good choice for children too. The beef fajitas are gorgeous. Decor & atmosphere are lovely, the cow skin booths are the best & give privacy. Excellent.

good but not quite as good as previously get rid of those silly wine bags ours collapsed water all over the table but dealt with very well by staff

We arrived for our 4pm booking on a sunday hoping to try the two course sunday menu, unfortunately we were informed it was "Sold Out". Quite early to be sold out but never mind the food we did order and receive was excellent. The service was attentive. We will definitely return.

The food was very good. We had to wait quite a while for our main courses to arrive though. A little expensive too, we thought.

The food and venue would be hard to beat. The staff were friendly. The only thing that let it down was how long we had wait for the bill. Eventually a member of our group had to go find someone .

We went for the lunchtime deal - plenty of choice and the food was excellent - I would recommend the restaurant to friends at any time

Never fails to impress. Our friends loved it too. We visit on special occasions and look forward to amazing food, especially the steaks. We will be back soon

The meal was of the usual high standard best steak in the area always good, order delivered slightly wrong but waitor offered to make right will definitely visit again.

Lovely contemporary restaurant. The staff greeted us when we arrived and were attentive during our visit. The food was fantastic. We chose the steak deal which is their midweek offer but there was no compromise on the quality of food or wine served. Would highly recommend.

Generally OK but nothing special, service poor food just about OK. Will not be rushing back, my steak was dry, starter of onion soup too heavy. Was never asked if everything was OK throughout the duration of the meal

We have been to this restaurant before and have always have great service even when we have taken our 20 month old son. Tonight we went as a treat and the service and the food was really good and I would recommend this restaurant to others.

I've never had a bad meal here - great staff (attentive without being over-bearing) and gorgeous food - what more can you ask for? My favourite restaurant in Ilkley.

Nice atmosphere, attentive staff. We shared the honey chorizo to start, my husband had the beef fajitas which looked delicious and I had the chicken Kiev which really wasn't to my taste as it was stuffed with a Parmesan type cheese so unfortunately I couldn't eat it. It would have been a nice gesture if it had been taken off the bill!! Desserts were very good although the apple tart would be better renamed as almond tart as you couldn't taste the apple for the almond flavour, thankfully I love almonds.

We had a really great experience this evening at The Moody Cow in Ilkley. The service was great and the food was delicious; excellent value for money. We can highly recommend the pulled pork "nacho" fries, and the tuna steak and rib eye were fantastic main courses. Our entire party enjoyed the food and ambience. It's not too noisy because there's no loud music, so even when the restaurant is full the noise levels are manageable. Highly recommended.

steak was chewed and had to send back, but they replaced and apologised. Service great and would not put me off as have eaten here before

Very nice restaurant, started off so well with the Chorizo but let down by the steaks. Looked like they'd been flattened to make them look bigger which meant almost impossible to get it cooked medium as requested. Ordered a sirloin and a ribeye and very salty, don't think we'll be going back and definitely not worth £72.

Food was very good, really enjoyed my burger and the lunch set menu was very reasonable. Also very good with my toddler, which is always a relief!

Good food. Good service. Sometimes too hot and overpowering food smells in summer. Need more ventilation. Overall highly recommended. Can't always get a return phone call when trying to make a reservation if line is engaged.

Each time we have been to the Moody Cow restaurant in Ilkley, the food has been excellent, the staff are always polite and friendly and we have no hesitation in recommending it to other people.

Lovely food, will happily return again. Only small niggle was that I asked for a latte and it seemed very strong and not very milky so I'd personally stick to tea next time. But food and service otherwise great!

Beautiful food as always. Served to a high standard cooked to perfection. Brilliant atmosphere and comfortable seating. The staff have great knowledge of the menu and daily offers and welcome you warmly and attend to your needs immediately. Highly recommend.

Excellent service from entering the restaurant. Drinks at the bar were brought to our table when we were ready. Food was very good. It was my daughter and son in law's first visit and won't be the last !

Nice enough meal but there was no atmosphere. We were sat at a table by the window, the blinds were down so we couldn't see out and the blinds were damaged, looked a bit shabby

Chocolate brownie was a bit burnt but fantastic customer service. Rest of the meal was very good and we will be going back in the future.

Sunday lunch was generally excellent. Service was good and orders taken promptly and meals served quickly. Starters were all fresh and very good. Childs Sunday Roast would have satisfied most adults. Main meals were all served together along with a good selection of vegetables. Yorkshire puddings were a little dry and Onion Rings overcooked; otherwise a very pleasant meal at a reasonable price.

Great food, great service what more can I say. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back again. The nachos were a meal in themselves!

Had the Chateaubriand, beautifully tender. Service slow but everyone polite and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere, comfortable seating. My parents enjoyed the roast, the meat had a nice flavour, although the vegetables were undercooked including the roast parsnips and potatoes.
