Our dining experience at Mustard Seed was memorable. The food and service were outstanding. The monk fish and prawns fricassee was the meal highlight. Highly recommend.

For the first time I found the menu did not ‘float my boat’. I usually find it hard to decide from the choice but on this occasion there wasn’t anything that really made it hard to choose. Otherwise great service from all staff members.

The food was amazing we had the monkfish snd chicken both tasted amazing and very filling. My husband had the apple sorbet and I had the cheeseboard finished off the meal sublimely. Would highly recommend.

Kitchen is way too loud for a fine dining experience. Sounded like a NYC meat market. The older female floor manager comes off as quite rude.

First Visit to the Mustard Seed & certainly not disappointed. Everything from Start to Finish was lovely & plenty of food. Really like the fact that you do an Early Evening Menu as well, plenty choice & caters for everyone. Definitely be coming back in the near future & will highly recommend you to Friends & Family for sure.

Food up to the usual great standard, ambience really nice, one of the table staff was very abrupt and handed plates to diners instead of placing them, she could do with some training!

Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at the Mustard Seed, as did the friend I was with (a pre-birthday treat for her!). It is one of my favourite restaurants in Inverness and it never fails to impress. Great food, good value and very pleasant staff.

The food was very good. The table we had at the right of the front door was a bit drafty (wind from the front door). Our waitress was in a big hurry. She raced around which was a bit unsettling. The rest of the staff was great.

We picked this restaurant to get dinner whilst hanging around in Inverness between our trains, as we were on a long journey. We had looked on the website and were attracted by the economical Early Evening menu and other menu choices, and because it seemed to be a nice independent local business. On arrival, we were disappointed by the lack of vegetarian options which were actually available. In the end, we did have a decent meal, in a nice atmosphere, and were not hungry on our subsequent journey.

We went for lunch because it was my friend’s birthday. I let them know when I booked…they played the birthday song for others and made a fuss…. For us we were stuck in a corner and the waitress tried to rush us through our lunch. Won’t go back - clearly they have enough business
