The Mustard Seed Restaurant

We are so sorry to say this as we do enjoy the feel of the space however: Limited menu for vegetarian and what there was, was poorly executed.....dry, overcooked.... Passing dirty stuff on the way upstairs Dirty bathrooms.....sadly not for us again

Lovely meal and staff attentive and friendly and helpful too

Staff were welcoming, but very busy, service was quick to the point of rapid, food wasn't as described, I will say tasty enough, but not as expected, ( salmon bruschetta was on baguette, as was the garlic flat bread)

Restaurant was warm and welcoming. Shown to our table and were served bread etc. Starters arrived promptly and were delicious. Unfortunately, our main course was delayed and wasn't received for a further 45 minutes. It was hot and very good but the enjoyment was taken away by the delay. We were not offered a refund or any redress. We paid the whole amount but the visit was spoiled. The waiting staff apologised but it wasn't their fault. No one in management bothered to speak to us or offer an explanation. Poor customer experience that could and should have been better.

I had soup for starters, chicken for main and cheese/biscuits to finish. Food was excellent and good value for money. Alcohol is a bit expensive as Thistly cross cider at £7.10 is rather expensive!

En general muy bien, comida, servicio muy bien, ambiente un poco ruidoso pero bien.

The service and ambiance are great, but portions are small for the price.

It was average .A long wait to get drinks order in . Food perfectly nice but not anything special.

A really lovely environment for our pre-Christmas family dinner. Food was delicious & kids really enjoyed it too. Very friendly staff. Very relaxing & enjoyable.

Lovely venue Overall food excellent except the desserts! My wife had the apple pie which was cold stodgy and unedible , I had the panna cotta… average at best.

Everything was of a superb standard. I have been before but my friend had not - and was blown away by the restaurant, food and staff. Well done everyone.

Got taken to our seats promptly on arrival ,waitress came with water /bread took our orders ,food was lovely although there were no roast potatoes left which was disappointing but they gave us 2 free coffees to make up for it ,so very happy .

The food was a bit disappointing. More of a bacon dinner than a turkey dinner. Sprouts were wet as happens when from frozen.

Food and service was great. The only down side was a noisy Christmas party of around 20 nearby but we were quite tolerant of that at this time of year!

Service was attentive, good atmosphere, food was mediocre. Soup & salmon tasty, chicken had no haggis in it & dry, rump tough & chewy even though cooked to what I requested. Disappointed as have looked forward to eating here for many years.
