Food was lovely and good portion sizes. it’s the first time I’ve been here and would definitely return.

Friendly staff and delicious food meant we had a lovely lunch. I thought the beetroot salad I had was a bit expensive but everything else was very good.

Food was fine but service so so slow. No information. Completely unacceptable.

We waited over an hour for our food which never arrived. Really disappointing.

We waited 1hr 15 mins to get our food. Other tables were also complaining about the wait and some even left without their food arriving. Because of this we felt that we should not have to pay our bill in full but the barman did not understand this. We understand that sometimes things happen beyond the control of the kitchen staff but the way the serving staff handled it was very poor.

Friend on a diet asked for no potatoes but extra veg but her fish was served with unwanted potatoes and when pointed out a fresh plate was served without the spuds but then extra veg arrived separately containing spuds ! We felt that the staff who were pretty disorganised didn’t really listen to what was asked of them. We had to wait an hour for our meals to arrive and one person had to change their order as the kitchen had run out of one of the ‘special’ fish dishes. All in all the standard was not up to the Olive Tree as we remember it from the past.
