Friendly, food delicious. Parking nearby. Clean and tidy. It would be useful to sign dining area is upstairs. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended...5 star.
Dated and a bit grubby. The Food was poor chewy fish and the chips had loads of root eyes . I would not go back again.
Not impressed. Pub a little scruffy. Food OK, but not as good as other reviews suggest. Service very good though. May be living on its laurels.
Food service was very slow and when main courses arrived some were burnt. One meal was returned. The room was being shared with another group who were on a night out and one member of the group was sick (Too much pre-drinking) in the room. Staff were clearing this up and also trying to serve meals to our table. We had pre booked our meals for 7.30pm and were still waiting for main courses at 9pm. The manager was very helpful when approached and apologised and recompensed our party suitably. Normally the food here is very good and this may have been a one off with there being two large party groups.
great food. Good service and a reasonable price. well worth a visit.
