overall it as very poor the roast lamb was very hard to cut and chew the only thing that was hot were the roast potatoes but they were very hard to cut we did complain and were offered a free pud which again was nearly cold and a glass of sparkling wine we will not be going back very disappointed

Food good, attentive staff but did not need to serve boiled potatoes with fish pie that has potato on it, would have rather had another veg, however the buttered greens were delicious. Also puddings a little limited we thought.

Lovely looking country pub. Pleasant staff. Main courses were well cooked and presented. Waited far too long for desert order to be taken, when the deserts arrived one hadn't been defrosted. Generally, ok but let down by very poor pace of service. Noticed that they are under new management so hope they tighten up on it. Probably unlikely to revisit based on this.

The food was good as usual but the service was some what lacking on this visit. Two members of staff simply forgot about us and parts of our order - drinks during the meal and then our dessert order. On both occasions we had to chase them up on it, the desserts being over 30 minutes after the order was taken. We did receive an apology both times and the desserts were taken off the bill but money isn't the issue here. We will most likely go back because as I've said, the food was good but it was disappointing when compared to previous visits.

Atmosphere , food and service very good. Unfortunately your website repeatedly said there were no bookings available for lunch after 12.30 though in fact there was only 2 other people in the restaurant at the time!

Food took 50 minutes to be served and felt as though the dishes had been made up from other dishes. Chilli served with Indian rice, fish with spiced wedges. Sadly disappointing

Really friendly staff and a good choice of menu. We had a mix of young and old in our party of eight and we all enjoyed our meals.

Lovely pub/restaurant. Friendly waiting staff, very reasonable bar prices with good selection of real ales. Tasty Sunday lunch, Yorkshire pudding was amazing, portions plentiful, well presented

Having not visited Parson Woodforde for a while I was impressed with the variety of staters and main courses the pub now has available. The surrounding and quality of food served was excellent but I feel the choice of deserts was limited. There was too much ice cream and sorbet and dessert I selected from the menu was not available (lime cheesecake) but wE will definitely return

Great food friendly and timely service at reasonable prices...What more is there to say!! Oh yes well it happens to be in a convenient part of the Norfolk countryside with easy access off the 1067.

Lovely pub, good food, good beer, nice people. Great part of the country. Very crowded on the day but the staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go again.

Restaurant cold. Very limited menu choice. Several of our party weren't impressed with the mains or desserts. E.g. Dried sticky toffee pudding in an ice cream sundae, vanilla mash? Very slow service. Also incorrect change give. What a disappointment. We have been there several times before and the usual high standard has slipped. What a pity , we won't be returning.

It would have been better if we were offered a table in the restaurant and not the bar area, a little too noisy. Excellent food.

Recent visit for a Saturday evening meal. 29th October Hospitality on arrival was good. Choice from menu seemed rather poor. Numerous diners were choosing the sirloin steak option as I did as it seemed as though this was the best off a limited choice, against what else was being offered. Kerly kale was the main ingredient for green veg , not for me I'm afraid. No sign of broccoli or cauliflower. Your traditional offerings of fish & chips, sausage mash, were to be had, but as it was a Saturday, looking for something a little special was not there for me.

The food is excellent and I would definitely recommend the Parson Woodforde to anyone. The steak was cooked superbly and the Chefs Trio desert delicious. I'm sure I'll be going back again soon.

Food delayed a long wait and the fish was overcooked and dry. Other meals such as the pasta were OK. This place goes up and down as far as the quality of food.
