As usual good food good service all with a reasonable price. Can be busy for fish Friday so book, also eating area is near bar so get your after work drinkers who can be loud and inappropriate with language when familys are eating....but not really pubs fault.

Lovely home cooked food in a very homely style pub - helpful staff even when busy with the Mothers Day rush. We would recommend highly.

Our first time at the Plough, it will not be our last. Staff very friendly & helpful & the menu has lots of choices, some of them unusual in a good way. Definitely recommended.

Another lovely fish fryday meal, excellent price and cold beer whats not to like. Recommend booking as popular on Friday teatime and Saturday evening. Pub open for food all day Saturday and Sunday.

We had the fish friday offer of 2 meals for £12, the food was excellent in value and taste, cooked perfectly and with a good guest ale called Clean slate to wash it down. We've been to this pub around 8 or 9 times in the last year and tried a good majority of the dishes on offer either from the main menu or specials board and every single one has been excellent, freshly cooked and more than enough in portion size. highly recommended.

Easter Sunday. Pleasant staff. 7 bean vegetarian meal was dried up, as if kept warm for some time. Gammon joint had either cloves or star annis - flavour was overpowering so meat inedible. Plough pie ok - not much meat in my piece and pastry rather thick and heavy; nicely spiced though. Chips perfect.
