A lovely meal. Friendly staff and a great country pub.

Skinny Fries! Finally a pub in East Sussex! Lovely place. Well organised
Super tasty food but let down by instant coffee only!
Lovely friendly lady that served us, good food and a good sized portion of meat that was beautifully cooked, plenty of veg. A lovely Sunday roast, will definitely be back.
Lovely big plateful of delicious food, nicely presented. We will be back!
The menu was very limited to mainly fish dishes. The only actual meat on the menu was no longer available. The only meat dishes left on the menu were a burger and ribs. The staff need a lesson in serving etiquette - you don't clear plates until both people have finished eating! The carpark is so dangerous - pitch black, no lighting
Food was ok, but service was slow. We didn’t think the pub was particularly busy.
Nicely decorated, welcoming country pub, the like of which is getting rarer. A small menu, but that's good as it focuses the mind. I had the Wagyu Burger which was delicious & my wife had the fish & chips which she enjoyed. Overall, a very good experience & hope the new owners are successful. Give them a try!
