The Point Bar & Grill

This was our first visit to the restaurant. The location is wonderful, especially on a sunny day, when you css as n see the boats in the marina. The food was really good and the fact they’re dog friendly made our visit even better. We will & have visited again. Thank you

Overall it was really good. Baby making lots of noise at the next table was irritating, but that’s what baby’s do. He was teetering, so why bring him out. Not the baby’s problem, just inconsiderate parents.

Lovely waterside location and with current restrictions all inside seating for meals suitably distanced. Enjoyed our food and drinks with staff doing their best with the changes.

The food was very good and the waitress was pleasant, but the food took a long time to come.

The location and service was great. The additional Covid measures in place worked very well. The menu is limited, however a nice selection. The fish and chips we had I would rate as average.

Food was cooked from fresh, tasted nice, limited menu for a grill bar! Had to wait over a hour for food after ordering, the waitress was lovely. Good location by the harbour..

Haven't dined out since the lock down started and we were very happy to be back at the Point. It's a 20+ mile round trip for us but it's always worth the effort. The staff are always friendly and they serve excellent food in great surroundings. Highly recommended.

We have eaten here several times before and have previously been entirely satisfied but on this occasion unfortunately the wheels came off! The service was slow, we ordered just one course and waited almost one hour before our food arrived. The wine then arrived when we were 75% though our food with a screw cap that was impossible to open. Our food was swimming in butter which spoilt an otherwise well cooked dish. In fairness the owners put things right to our satisfaction and we will return in the hope that today was just a bad day at the office that will not be repeated and a return to a busy friendly place to have a nice lunch

The food was good but I’m afraid the service was not so good ... Forgot our order of drinks then when we had finished our meal which had a bottle of wine included ,had not arrived so we ended taking it home .
