As always, great food and service. For some reason the place is always very quiet with few (or no) other diners to give any atmosphere. For good pub grub though you can't go far wrong...

Excellent surroundings, food was delicious and well presented. Very friendly staff. Def on our list for another visit
The four of us enjoyed a really good Sunday roast (beef with Yorkshire puds) and tasty desserts after. Very friendly staff and although busy, still had smiles and very pleasant. Would definitely eat there again and their menu has a good choice of other meal choices, if roasts were not wanted. Many thanks
Service friendly, my roast beef was perfectly med-rare, sufficient veg etc-and here great gravy-which makes it more homecooking than gastro-thank god!!. Enjoyable,unrushed and will return soon.
