Staff were very busy but cheerful, food was good, as it got busier customers were not social distancing and the noise levels became unbearable. Felt sorry for staff as they were clearly understaffed for a Saturday night.

Food was nice but let down by very slow service. Staff were lovely but worked at a snails pace we had to ask for cutlery twice and chase our drink order while watching others being served instantly at the bar. Also watch the wine measures we were given a medium when asked for a large and the next round of drinks had 2 very different measures of wine which was rectified when we told the waitress. Shame the service let the food down.

Food was good and great value. Service was not. Slow and difficult to catch servers eye. Not offered any condiments and had to as for bill twice 😕

In the circumstances the staff were great they did all they could to make our meal as good as it could be but they had ran out of most things and the chef and staff were so overwhelmed it took 2 hours to get food. And unfortunatley couldn't accomidate us with drinks even though we ordered multiple times. But they were run off their feet and constantly apologised. Most likely due to the 50% off at the moment the business underestimated the demand and this place is usually brilliant so will definitely go again once they're back on their feet.

Took ages for food to arrive and it was cold

Very disappointed wont be returning. Food ok except the chips werent cookes. No condiments as requested and waited almost half an hour after ordering dessert to be told they had run out on the plus side the waiter was lovely

Advices to order through the app. The drinks didn’t arrive, app doesn’t work. Poor service and food incorrect. Several tables around us sent food back.

Lovely time doing the quiz, great procedures in place. Could be more clear about the bar/table service but overall good.

Both my son and I felt at ease the whole time. Lovely girl served us and was very friendly. Food was delicious so we have booked again for this Sunday.

Not enough waiting staff, took 30 minutes to get a drink and I had to take it from the bar myself, very organised and felt sorry for the one girl waiting on tables. When food arrived it was basic could not wait to get out. Will not go again

Service was a bit slow but staff were very pleasant. For instance wine ordered but didn’t arrive and had to chase it up. The pub wasn’t so busy but I know it’s difficult times.

Reduced number of guests affects atmosphere. Service sluggish at best. Website menu different to menu available. It was still enjoyable.

As a regular pre-lockdown, the pizza size was the smallest I have ever had, barely covering half the pizza board. Also, service times were poor.

The experience wasn’t great. Totally understand not a full menu. Although the sandwiches we had were quite tasteless

The customer service was good but the food was very poor quality, bland, and over priced for what it was. I had a chicken kebab, which was essentially a handful of chopped iceberg lettuce with a few pieces of flavourless chicken on top of a small nan bread, and cost me almost £10. My friend had a roast veggie salad, she had asked to have it with halloumi but was unable to as there was no button on the till to add halloumi to the salad. She ended up not eating the salad as the veg tasted fermented. My other friend had nachos, which she was happy with, but again completely over priced. This was my first time at a Pottingshed and I was very underwhelmed by the food. Don’t think I’ll go back again.

Overall very good. Nice food a great service. Could do with a broader choice of wines, but understand this has been restricted due to Covid

The waiteressing wasn't to a high standard and it was quite sloppy. Social distancing wasn't followed by the waitresses and they weren't wearing masks. However, the food was delightful and definately filling.

The service was good, the food was ok (remember it being a better menu in the past!). Disappointed in the lack of upkeep in the surroundings - dead plants, dead leaves all around the outdoor seating area. Mentioned this to staff. Just looked a bit sad and uncared for

Felt safe, really lovely welcoming staff. Thank you! We will be returning again! The only thing that was hard was when you need a drink to let staff know, perhaps consider a way ie a buzzer or something so you can let bartenders know when you require to order another drink without leaving the safety of your table area.

First meal out since the lockdown was lifted, Staff were brilliant and managed social distancing, unfortunately some of the other patrons after consuming alcohol were obviously struggling

Excellent service, great food and very good value. Proper social distancing measures in place and kids made very welcome.
