Absolutely love this place for it’s atmosphere and staff, but prices are high for small Portions, if I have a steak with sides I expect to be full

The food was excellent and the staff lovely. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Previous visits have been really good but unfortunately our last visit was not very good. I had to return my meal not once but twice as the steak was overcooked on both occasions. The 3rd attempt was cooked slightly better but the quality of the steak was not as good as the first two or that of my dining partner. Although the restaurant did not charge me for either of the steaks they offered no further recompense for the inconvenience. My dining partner’s steak was cooked and served correctly which meant he had finished his dinner by the time my 2nd steak was served and was a further wait for the 3rd steak to be cooked. Overall a very disappointing experience. This was meant to be a special meal for my birthday which turned out to be a disaster.

Very disappointed with our meals. Will not be going back again.
