We were away on a romantic nite Indian . Is my husband’s favourite they did a special request dish for him service food everything couldn’t fault we return when next in Brentwood

The Raj, is one of my all time favourite Indian restaurants always a pleasure to go there and the food and service is second to none. Can't wait to go back myself and my wife had a great time.

Much like many other Indian restaurants in that food contains too much pre prepared paste based dishes at the expense of natural ingredients.

It was great evening with great food (and they were happy to bring out the birthday cake for my son (19 yrs old!) that we had brought with us as a surprise. Very friendly staff.

Welcoming staff who were polite and attentive. Menu is straightforward Indian cuisine with all the regular dishes. Not very much originality in the specials. However food was tasty and portion sizes were generous.

Very nice food and warm and friendly staff, I will definitely be visiting again. A good a varied menu with plenty of choice and I particularly liked the table on the menu relating to different types of allergies that may be contained in each meal choice ( a number against each option , relating to the allergy table on the menu)

Food was excellent as usual, service very attentive, friendly and polite. Would have been a 6 rating but the lemonade was flat which was a shame.

The Raj is a superb Restaurant, good food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. The menu is extensive. The staff make you feel very welcome and provide just the perfect amount of attention. A great night out!

Good curry house, quick and friendly service, close to the rail station and the centre of Brentwood. A good range of vegetarian and vegan options.

I've been going here for years and have always loved the food. I highly recommend the chicken tikka... it's the best I've ever had !

They catered with a large group very well - the food was great and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back for one of our regular company curries very soon.

Every time I go the food is excellent staff is very friendly I can't wait to go again I will be booking again very soon
