RAMBLERS REST COULSDON

I recently visited Ramblers Rest and had a lovely experience. The food was really nice – fresh, well cooked, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Staff were friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We ate here a few weeks ago on a Thursday. Sat outside. Great friendly staff. Good food. Lovely atmosphere. So we thought we’d go back. This Sunday. The food was nothing like before. Had fish which was undercooked. Dry prawns. The burger was more like a patty. But! One particular female member of staff gave me daggers when I explained the meal she dumped in front of me was for my mother opposite. So so rude! Had to wait 15 mins for my meal after everyone else had theirs. The bar area is unbearably noisy. Try putting the empty glass in the bin as opposed to throwing it has hard as you can. Slow service. The allergy menu wasn’t available so had a choice of 2 meals out of the entire menu. No toilet paper in the ladies. They were quite a mess with one loo out of order. Couldn’t wait to leave! Very disappointed. Shame as before it was totally different.

Lovely food, great service and accommodated allergies well. Highly recommend.

The food was very good and service was amazing. they have me free juice whilst I was waiting for my food. would suggest giving this place a go.

love the food options, served on time and lovely atmosphere. Drink prices were decent too.
