My husband had the fish and chips and said it was the best he'd ever had.

We went for Sunday lunch but was Caribbean menu.Good if you like carribean

Fabulous food, especially the Caribbean dishes and caters for vegans. Not the first time we’ve eaten this chef’s food and won’t be the last wherever she goes next! Highly recommend 😁

We had the steak and wine offer. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the wine was a good quality British Pinot Grigio. We will go again to try out the new summer menu KZ

My family and I were amazed with this place. The landlord was so welcoming. He was so friendly and couldn't do enough but never intrusive. We chose the Caribbean menu and the food was amazing. I live in London and have been to some of the best afro Caribbean restaurants and have had lots of home cooked carribean food and this was the best I have ever had. The flavours were incredible and you could request the level of spice specific to each person. Cannot recommend enough!

I recommend this restaurant if what want a new kind of a special meal. Good choice of food and served with a pint of real ale.

Food was fine but feel sad that we and two others were the only ones in to eat. On a Sat night!!! Needs help with presentation. Young waitress was very nice a did try with what she had to work with.

Great menu choices with the Afro-Caribbean menu explained well. Fantastic service which was just the right amount of attentive without feeling like your meal was interrupted in any way and the food was absolutely delicious!! A total gem and we are already planning our next visit! I’d like to have said it was rubbish so that we can guarantee a table but this place deserves all the accolades it gets and hope it continues to do well with its new menus and introduction of genuine Italian pizzas from next month!

Lovely evening. It was our first experience of Carribbean food and we were really impressed. The portions were huge and we ended up taking half of our puddings home as we were so full! Very friendly and helpful table service. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended

We booked a table with a bit of trepidation but needn’t have been concerned. The food was superb and the service good. Would highly recommend.

Great place Food AMAZING!! We all tried at least one Caribbean course so delicious. And not expensive! We will definitely be visiting again. Bravo to the 2 ladies who served us.

The food was excellent, seem very authentic and very tasty, the only critisism was that on our arrival two of the dishes which were advertised on groupon where not on the menu as they were in the process of changing the menu, staff also very helpful and friendly. Will deffinately go again.

Could not use the voucher as Monday to Friday is the only days to use it. Ate there anyway and the food was absolutly lovely and booked for next Friday.Recormend it to anybody who likes great food.

Nice country pub with a diverse menu, great service by staff and the food was delicious. The cake selection was good too, enjoyed the Rum Cake.

6 of us went for Father’s Day meal. Couldn’t fault anything. Food very nice. Caribbean and English. Staff very good. Chatty and welcoming. We all agreed we go again.

First visit to the red lion but will be returning ... food was excellent and host was informative and and attentive... The bill was less than expected...All in all a nice evening 👍

The table was perfect in the window, food was very nice, lots of choice, good menu, I feel it was a touch expensive for what you had but it was very nice and we enjoyed our evening

Very clean, very freindly staff, nice and warm in the dinning area, on a chilly evening out side. Took my girlfriend there for a valentine suprize. Will defentley go back agin soon. Great meal enjoyed by us both.
