We are regular customers and really like The Red Lion. The standard of cooking is very good. As older customers the size of the portions is a bit too generous but that is just us!
It was a wonderful place to celebrate my children’s A level and GCSE results as they were so welcoming and kind

Lovely evening with family,owner multi tasking as wife was ill .He was barman ,cook ,waiter but was so friendly and meal was delicious.A real country pub lovely atmosphere will definitely be back
This is our lunch venue of choice and we are never disappointed. Good locally sourced food and friendly service. The 'specials' menu always has interesting choices.
Very cosy old pub. The service was excellent. Very friendly and efficient. Large portions of tasty food. We loved the atmosphere with old beams and flagstones on the floor.
V friendly staff. Warm environment. Reasonably priced but above all tasty and generous portions. We recommend the baked Camembert and crusty bread plus the lamb hot pot.
The chef knew how to prepare a Sunday lunch - it was excellent! Friendly, welcoming staff adds to the appeal. Unsurprisingly the pub was full of diners. We'll be back soon.
