Great place - good wine and food! Went with my girlfriend who is from Budapest and she approved too! ☺️ We can definitely recommend this place!

Excellent , friendly service. Ambiance warm and relaxing. Food very flavoursome end delicious. It is so good to have a really special local restaurant which also has musicians from time to time and is part of the local community.

It's a nice place, but I find the food a bit blant and overpriced... Service was pleasant though. I probably won't be dining there again...

As a Hungarian, I think I can safely say that you'll get real Hungarian dishes at The Rosemary! Taste like home. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you won't regret whatever you order. Book a table though as it gets busy in the evening!

Very good authentic Hungarian food with excellent customer service , really recommend it for superb value as well. if in London again will pay another visit

Good home Hungarian organic food restaurant. Traditional Hungarian Style feel. Waiter very pleasant. I loved the pots of flowers, herbs and plants. Food really tasty.

Great place! Highly recommended, and the live music was lovely :) Get everything Hungarian, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. The staff were also very personable.

We really enjoyed our visit to The Rosemary. The food was very tasty and well presented - and the portions are huge! The wine list is small, but there is an excellent selection of Hungarian craft beer and spirits to choose from. Throw in friendly and attentive service and (on the night that we were there) live music, and you have all the ingredients for a good night out.

Lovely Hungarian restaurant in New Cross. Tried the beef stew with dumplings and a side of potato wedges. The stew was full of flavour and a generous portion served, as I like to imagine it in a Hungarian household. The potato wedges were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, as good wedges should be. Very hearty, comforting food.

Lovely atmosphere and staff. The food was really good! The salmon and the cordon bleu were delicious. The only negative point was the pea soup that I thought wasn't very tasty, especially compared to the bean soup that I had last time we visited.

Very nice and friendly restaurant. The food is delicious, starter, main and dessert all good. Only thing I would suggest to the owner to put more type of meat on the menu. And more variety of food. Live music makes it a very nice atmosphere. Hada wonderful time there. 100 % recommended

Lovely restaurant and friendly staff but the food let it down. Tasteless, bland and boring (these were vegan and vegetarian options so can't comment on the meat options). No wonder there's a pot of chilli sauce on each table.

Excellent real Hungarian food, friendly atmosphere, real Hungarians are the waiters not like e.g. in Gay Hussar there was even a band playing music after 9 pm. Plus the chance to buy healthy food is almost unbelievable. Definitely worth to see!

I was so happy to find a restaurant with vegan options. The menu clearly stated which foods were vegan/vegetarian. Our waiter was very knowledgeable (which isn't normally the case at other places!) so I didn't have to feel like I'm being a pain and didn't even have to ask any questions, the guy was quick to make suggestions and was very helpful. Our whole group was happy with the delicious Hungarian food as well. The place itself is really lovely. The prices are very moderate considering it's an organic place! Had a great time and will go again soon! Would really recommend it! Thanks

Absolutely fantastic! As a Hungarian myself I was rather sceptic and had my reservations but the Rosemary is beyond all expectations. Almost as good as my mom's cooking! We are definitely going to go back.

Me and my boyfriend had a 3 course dinner at Rosemary. If you are Hungarian and you are wishing to have a "taste of home" even if you are not I definitely recommend this place to you. We were really satisfied, delicious comfort food, nice wine and good service. I must say the best hungarian food in London so far! It is worth to try!

Great place, good food. The only downside was the bathroom. They also have a little deli corner for healthy organic foods and some Hungarian products.

A delicious meal complemented with a very agreeable Babarczi Irsai Oliver, as recommended by the charming and efficient waitress, in a convivial restaurant. A lovely evening was further enhanced by a most excellent performance of live music. The vegetarian in our party was delighted by the variety of choices available.

Lovely restaurant with fantastic service, great food and wine and nice atmosphere. There was also live Hungarian folk music the evening of our visit. The Kalocsai sparkling wine is really nice. We had a lovely evening :-)

Traditional Hungarian restaurant. Nice, tidy, and tha staff very friendly. If you ask something different it is possible try fix for you. If you want you can learn dance this place.

Portions were huge for those of us feeling hungry! Had to put my dinner into a 'doggy bag' just so I could save room for dessert! The staff were helpful, attentive and very attentive. The ambience was amazing and the live music was an added bonus! Will definitely be returning :)

Very nice , friendly service, good menu, good prices. I enjoyed the live music, it gave a good atmosphere. The food was tasty, looked brilliant. Although it was busy, they made sure to give an excellent customer service.

Lovely food, good service. In weekends a Sicilian duo is playing live music. Highly recommended, we will return here soon. Out of the centre, but worths the visit.

Nice decor and live music created a good atmosphere. It was very cold inside, though! Meals were tasty but portions of main meals were too small. We will return, though (please consider ways of making it warmer inside!)

There was beer tasting when we were there. The restaurant was full, I was glad that I booked a table in advance. The food was good, the atmosphere was amazing, the beers were very tasty (we should have get more for tasting 😜)
