Can not fault The Round for atmosphere and quality of food. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. However the order was taken correctly, the bill was for the ordered food but the meals we received weren't the correct ones. My burger wasn't what I asked for, my sons fries and toppings were both incorrect. As it was good I didn't report this but really think I should have. Reporting it would have caused delays and we didn't want that. Chef perhaps needs to pay more,attention to the orders.

Our first visit to The Round and we felt very pleased to have booked this lovely restaurant. We both had deconstructed burgers, without the bun, and having clambered up Catbells earlier in the day the Katsu burger was the obvious choice. The chicken was tender, dressing and Mayo delicious as was the crunchy coleslaw and fresh quinoa salad - we also enjoyed perfectly cooked fries! Our host was super friendly, interesting to talk with and engaging - she is an asset to this business and ensured we had a wonderful evening. Nothing more to add other than this is somewhere we will definitely head to again when we’re next in Keswick. Thank you to all the staff - a lovely treat after months away from the pleasure of eating out.

Love the round. Good food, friendly service. One of our household is intolerant of garlic, onions and lactose, but the staff happily sorted out a burger with none of these no problem.
