It was fantastic from beginning to end. Food staff service and atmosphere first class

Service with a smile and food to die for. First class as always. We will be back again and again.

Me and my sisters went there to celebrate. One of sisters has an autistic child and she was worried about the food. We explained this to the staff and they were amazing with him. They provided his meal exactly as he needed it to be and nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful service and great to see a restaurant/pub which understood the difficulties of SEN children. Can't praise them enough.

We visited for Sunday lunch yesterday and the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent.

Another restaurant that has clearly had to adapt their conditions and menu to suit the current circumstances. We have often eaten here over the years and are happy to support the place, but it all went wrong on this visit. I'm not going to go into details, but it was disappointing. The restaurant offered to put things right where possible, but we were too far into the evening by then. A shame as we know these things happen, and hopefully, when life improves for all of us, a future visit will erase this memory with the quality that we know they have.

It was extremely busy but the service was good. A little concerned that pub was a bit over packed.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly greeting efficient but not overbearing service. We asked for the loud music speaker over our table to be turned down, & it was eventually turned off, with no detraction from overall atmosphere. Food was good & very reasonably priced. The service was prompt but nicely paced. Pub has been redecorated & is much lighter now. We will be back!

I had a lovely homemade chicken and mushroom pie which was really tasty . Staff were pleasant .

This was booked for a birthday treat, and we had a good time. There were a few dietary requirements and these were all handled really well. Would definitely recommend and return.

We love coming here, its such a nice traditional pub/restaurant will lovely food & great service. We had the 3 course festive menu and the food was 5* even though it was quite busy, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Its nice having a local pub/restaurant that serves proper food in a relaxing cosy atmosphere. We must keep supporting these places
