I fancied some cod and chips and remembered that this place had that on their menu. It was very good and so too was the puddle pudding for dessert - it sounded irresistible on the menu

i had the gammon steak with pineapple all cooked well with chips and a side salad. spacious large area lots of seating and family orientated

opted for the honey steak - cooked nicely with the pineapple and salad. the atmosphere is cosy and the menu reasonable - there are sharers available

We often come here for the wide choice of menu options. There are several sharer options so we had nachos and pies - beef and mushroom wellington

Pub quiz is great, lovely atmosphere and well run. Good chips.

It was 241 on the large wines so that was a bonus. The food was nice but the portions were on the small side. Very nice pub and garden tho.

Friendly staff and a menue with some excellent and unusual vegetarian and vegan options. We had portobello mushrooms on lentils and vegan meatballs with squash ribbons. Both were delicious and well-represented. Felt like a proper chef had been at work. We'll be back.
