Bookee a table to find out at the place that Quandoo actually has no partnership with the restaurant. The service there was incredible and staff super nice, doing their best to get us seated. Very annoying

This was our second visit to the Royal Sun. The menu is comprehensive and to our taste. Two of our party have been diagnosed as Coeliac so cannot have anything with gluten. One if them has further dietary needs. The Royal Sun took these requirements in their stride. We hadn't seen our friends for a while and we were able to chat at the table for a long time. All in all, a lovely evening.
Another great visit over the Christmas period with my friend for lunch. We pre-ordered the food to save time as we only had an hour and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this pub for food.

No variety of menu dinner only Sunday roast would have been ok but don’t like gravy and there was loads of it plus the runner beans were nearly raw but staff very good and polite
We went for a family lunch, had to wait 20 mins for drink service to be told they had run out of beer lager only, but their wine was cheap. Service was not great, & food very average. Would not recommend it.
Loved it. Visit quite a bit as I work for the Police and we have 2 HQ's in Kidlington so very easy to get to and to park. The food is always very tasty, plenty of it and of good value. The service today was excellent - very efficient. Will keep coming and coming.. Maybe you could think about offering TVP a discount and we can put it on our staff benefits portal. The is a huge amount of staff and we now have no canteen.... Just a thought.... Many thanks for a lovely lunch.
Outstanding food and attentive service would have given a 6 but for the flickering light above table which was quite off putting at first but settled down
