Everything was fine except for one meal that arrived Luke warm and was sent back. It was replaced without any problems. This avoidable error means I can only say our visit was "okay".

Had the burger and the fish and chips this time; both were nicely presented and tasty. Friendly welcome as usual and our dog enjoyed the place too.

Good service. Main components of UN food good but dishes let down by accompanying veg and chips. Carrots with Puy lentil pie were hard and chips with Hunters chicken were cold.

Second visit within a few weeks. Once again staff were welcoming and service was good. Food was an improvement on the first visit; we had the camembert fritters and fish and chips this time. Nice and hot and plenty of it. Once again the request section of the Quando app failed to get us allocated to the bar area to accommodate our dog but easily rectified with a quick phone call.

Welcome and service good. Food typical pub grub of average standard. Lemon tart good, lasagne tasty but a little runny, lamb shank OK and the arancini came very hot but with couscous at fridge temperature. The pub is very dog friendly too but you do need to book the bar area. I tried doing this using the Quando request box but it didn't work. Their phone number for the pub is wrong too; use the one on the pub website.
