Gorgeous meal but very quiet and slow service lots of young drinkers
Another pleasant visit with a friend and enjoyed the food.
Another visit with friends to Petworth Park fir a walk with our dogs before lunch at Stonemasons. The pie was good, my friend had the fish and chips which was ok but she prefers fish without the skin in, her husband had the ham, egg and chips - would give liked more chips!
My friends and I had a pleasant walk with our dogs in Petworth Park then we enjoyed a nice lunch. My friend's husband said the burger needed more chips! The pie was very good. The bar seemed brighter than before looked as though it had been painted. Still have an issue with the toilet seats in the Ladies - not very stable! Will be back again in a while.
I struggle to find good evening eateries in Petworth; but detouring slightly north to The Stonemasons Inn did the job. Having light appetites, we were allowed to choose meals from the smaller portions menu. Very good ingredients, well prepared, tasted good and were just the right quantity and very reasonably priced. Service was quick and helpful. Free parking. We expect to return.
Disappointed advertise on line a gluten free menu but when we arrived no allergy list or gluten free menu as i am a celiac found this unelectable. Waitress was very helpfull and checked with chef and enjoyed meal.
My friends and I enjoyed another nice meal off the specials board after a good bracing walk at Petworth Park with our two dogs. Our 3rd visit to Stonemasons.
I enjoyed a steak & kidney pie, my friend's husband was happy with the steak burger however, my girlfriend was rather disappointed with the pork lion - made up for this with the bread & butter pudding! Ladies tiolet seats still haven't been fixed though!! Good location for a walk at Petworth.
Meal was perfect and service was very good. The interior is lovely with little nooks and crannies. I will be making this a regular. I
Nice pub, dog friendly, food was good although too many chips! Need to fix the Ladies toilet seats both cubicles the seat very unstable and most disconcerting. Would visit again as good location for Petworth Park.
Easy to bock or cancel and the directions are very clear to the Stonemasons Inn. Nice , friendly welcoming, tasty food and excellent service!! Highly recommend. We will be back !!
