Food ok. Some items not on the menu in mid week. I had lasagne that was meant to come with garlic ciabatta, it was brown toast.

we both had fish, 1 with chips & mine with a salad, it was lovely

A bit of a disaster last night for our monthly girls catch up. There was a 40% food discount on & the restaurant was full. 3 had fish & chips, the fish was so over cooked that the batter was unbreakable, we had to eat with our fingers to try & get the over cooked fish out. We told the waitress about the fish & she offered fresh fish, which we declined as it was 8.30pm & it would have been far too late by the time it would have come. 1 had hunters chicken which was also over cooked but bearable as it had the sauce on it. 1 had her usual vegan Penang curry which she said was nice. I felt sorry for the kitchen staff as they were obviously under pressure with the volume of food that was being cooked. As compensation they knocked off the bill the 2 small glasses of wine & the lemon & lime drinks, the other 2 had water. Maybe it's best to avoid when it's a discount time, especially on a Thursday night.

The meal was nice and tasty. some of the pork belly was overcooked. prices have gone up again. Enjoyable none the less

Sunday lunch, we'll it was ok except really could have been a bit hotter. we I assume we're the first order as we went for 12 pm. everyone else's meals that came by us looked hot. on a downside, I had a £10 off £30 spend reward off their loyalty card which when we came to pay didn't work!!

Our 2nd visit this week, my partner had the fish & chips, he said the fish was lovely. I had the fishcakes switching the side to a salad, very nice

A lovely birthday meal with friends. A nice warm atmosphere, cosy. The food was very good, 2 of us had fish & chips, 1 beef & red wine pie served with chips and peas & 1 lasagne. 2 of us had puddings, all very happy
