Great food and a lovely venue well worth a visit.

We arrived for lunch at 12pm on a Wednesday when the restaurant was quieter, therefore we cannot fairly rate the atmosphere. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would return.

Great service, great food. Next time will be pie day.

Went for sunday lunch with husband and son. My son got the beef which he said was amazing. That's great compliment as hes a great cook. I had the pork Absolutely gorgeous. Hubbie had chicken which he said was lively and moist. Yorkshire puddings are huge. Loads of veg. This is definitely our new favourite place for sunday lunch.

Booked in advance, though allocated table near the door separated from other tables. People, including waiting staff, came to and fro. Starters of prawn cocktail and deep fried mushrooms were unexciting though acceptable. Despite lunching at 1pm the Roast Beef main courses seemed stale. Yorkshire puddings were over cooked. Creamed potato was sloppy. Roasties had seen better days. Felt they may be from the previous day. The meat was two pieces akin to stewing beef. A disappointing meal and overall poor experience.

Food very good and plenty to eat. Would recommend going early as it seemed to be finished service around 4pm.

Lovely pub and staff. Sunday lunch was tasty and the dessert, waffles with butterscotch and ice cream was to die for! Will definitely be visiting again.

Food and service was exceptional, booked for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Vegetarian option was fish??? So our veggie daughters had vegetables with vegetarian gravy, would of liked a real vegetarian option. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone, overall experience good only negative was the screaming child on the next table but I'm aware its up to the parents to ensure children are better behaved.

Staff were lovely, unfortunately the food was very poor. Would not visit again.

Lovely food. One of the nicest Sunday lunches we’ve had in a while. There was a bit of a mix up with our table booking but all was sorted quickly. We will definitely return!

Good food in a nice atmosphere with good polite service, and all at very reasonable prices! What more could you ask for? And a nice log fire to warm you on a cold evening.
