Hit Wings and a triple burger life does not get much better than that combination and both are as good as you would find in the USA so when I’m in town I head for here every time

Really enjoy eating here when in this area and especially like the choice of burgers. There bbq sauce is fantastic so I might change toppings at times but the sauce is a go to choice

Gods menu selections and a nice range of burgers option but for me the bonus is if they are happy to customise your burger which they will do for you in that you can added toppings without a fuss

I really enjoy the burger here the meat is really tasty and well seasoned. And the fries are fresh cut nothing frozen here. They had a speak burger with bbq pulls pork and Macon cheese so what is not good about that so yes I had it and highly recommend you do too if it’s on the board

Another good pub grub style meal I enjoyed the sausage, mash and onion gravy which was the star of he dish. I could eat the gravy on its own with a chunk of bread to soak it up. My wife had the fish and chips and the crispy beer batter was really really good almost wish I had this dish too.

We were staying in Sunderland at the weekend and as the weather was bad decided to stay in the city centre and remembered this place so we went there and tried the tipsy burgers. They are double patties so plenty of meet to help fill you up on a cold wet night. A good selection of Edinburgh gins did not go wrong either only grip would be they use frozen chips which TOM the edge of a good meal

Gave it a try at lunch time but nothing special that could not find anywhere on the high street, the menu reads bettter than what’s presented so if you looking for average food without the lunchtime prices then go here otherwise shop around you might find a better fit for your lunchtime needs

I gave this a try at lunchtime in the hope it was open but to no avail as again the doors were locked and no signage to say if it’s permanent or not which I hope it’s not the case as previous posts suggest the food was good and well worth a visit so so I’ll keep an open mind for now .

I went to this pub and the kitchen was closed so not able to rate the food which is disappointing as the menu was the thing that attracted me to give this place a try, not sure if it’s just getting a face lift as there where no notices so will keep an eye out for updates.

Booked online for 5pm Sunday. Arrived, place closed. Rang no answer. Several other Customers were waiting outside with shutters still down. We all walked away and went elsewhere. Whilst eating food elsewhere I continued to ring past 6pm, still no answer. Losing a lot of business and goodwill.

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with our afternoon tea, the cakes obviously shop bought as were the cream scone and very sparsely filled. One pot of tea was Luke warm and we had to ask for a extra pot.we were also asked twice if we were there with a Groupon offer, would we have gotten a better deal with Groupon?
