We had a voucher from our family for £120 for my wife and I they told us that we had to spend it on the one visit,I ended up ordering a cheese board for 2 which I then asked them to rap it to take home when I arrive home and unwrapped it I found that they removed the butter ,celery and there was no grapes,

Disappointing visit. Attention to detail is missing. On Valentines night you have a real opportunity to 'showcase' your new restaurant...and this was not great. Arrived and we were on a nice oval table but it was set for 4. Why not take away two place settings? There seems to be a shortage of menus. We had to share a Valentine special menu and their normal menu. I heard later a member of staff say....'oh so and so has the desert menu'. My wife and I had to choose our dessert off the waitresses hand written docket/ticket. Even then they had no vanilla ice cream. Come on guys...you could even print and laminate your own menus...and having no vanilla ice cream for such an important night is poor. The couple next to us had a bottle of white wine. Instead of using a floor standing cooler they had a table one...there was that little room the couple had to put the wine on a spare chair. Then as the guitarist sang...lovely by the way...all we could hear was the staff clunking cutlery as they dried it with a big blue bucket on the unit. Come on guys that's kitchen activity. Oh and another thing on the wine menu...we were told...theres the wine menu...but the prices are not correct. Really poor...we did have a nice night and the venue is lovely...but will we be back....mmmm I dont think so. Such a shame. We had high hope's. With such alot of decent competition out there...these things need addressing...the positive thing is...its all fixable.
