Food was pretty good all round, had steak and was cooked perfectly. Service couldve been bit better, were slow taking initial drinks orders and seemed pretty rushed all time.

I will always enjoy my dinners here! Such a great environment!

Had a fantastic evening at the Travs. Only issue I had was the fact that it was an international rugby day and there was a big screen right next door to our table and the volume was full blast ! To such an extent that I could hardly hear my friend speak. That said , once the rugby was over , it was great there. Every table full, which is always a good sign. The staff were brilliant , so nice and helpful and attentive . We had two young girls with us, both 9 and they were treated like adults which was lovely to see. Thanks! Surroundings beautiful , food top notch, really good value for money( £20 for fillet steak) and the staff was second to none. Far more a great restaurant than a local pub . Brilliant.

Table booked for 1pm and food arrived at 2.10pm. There was no apology for the delay. The food was average. Pork was supposed to have crackling but came as burnt fat. Turkey was dry and the stuffing was dry and hard. Brought extra stuffing for 50p which was tiny and rock hard..

Lovely food, great service with a smile. Had the stuffed portobello mushrooms mmmmm. Only problem not many customers in so lacked atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff. Great variety of food and our meal was delicious. Prices reasonable. Highly recommend. Been there a few times for coffee never a meal glad we did. Nice warm environment as well.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we were behind a large party of 20 people. Nobody's fault, but that meant a longer wait than hoped for. We had two 4'year olds with us. One staff member ensured there was plenty of pens and drawing material available for the kids. I feel the food was ok, but nothing exciting. Overall, it was the staff who made the visit, not the food.

both meals were very nice. Would definitely recommend anyone to go eat there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly go again

We both had beef and it was thick and succulent, didn't need a knife to cut it, and the biggest yorkshire pudding I've ever seen. Fantastic food, welcoming and cheerful staff. Would definately recomend a visit. Will be going back soon.

Great meal 2 mixed grills which were massive & 2 sirloins off the special board best steak I have ever tasted, well done the Travs👍🏼

A great pub/restaurant with very pleasant decor. Service was very good (it was a very quiet time though, very few patrons), cheerful and knowledgeable waitron. Meals excellent value and good. Only comment by one of our party is that meal portion TOO large although I don't see this as a negative point

The food is amazing, the staff are lovely, your not waiting to look between courses. Such a welcoming friendly investment. Will definitely be coming back more in the future.

Lovely pub and restaurant and the food was delicious. I went a couple of days after Christmas with a couple of friends, we went to get more drinks at 10pm and were told the bar had closed even though we hadn't been told. It was a quieter evening in the pub but we had to leave then as the bar had closed. Felt a bit rushed at the end of the night and rushed out. Shame as the food was lovely.

good service food well cooked and presented!. a little bit disappointed with the wait, but overall a very pleasant afternoon in a most comfortable atmosphere and surroundings!

Meal was excellent but when we turned up they did not have our booking down even though I rang to check the booking the week before. Luckily they had a spare table as very busy with Xmas parties.

Great food and excellent service ! Just a shame that are booking even know through quandoo and confirmed by quandoo, The restaurant had no booking but lucky seated us ! I'd eat there again but not thought Quandoo !! Was a special night and could've been spoilt because of no booking even know I had an email to confirm .

visited twice last week, food was excellent on both occasions, and staff were great...on Friday they had to cope with a large funeral party...who were still there when we arrived at 8pm, but as usual they catered well

Great venue for a friendly, cosy atmosphere. Food was great. Good value and choice of meals. Only criticism - long wait for meals to be served even though the restaurant was not busy. However with a nice bottle of wine and being in no rush this didn't bother me. Staff very friendly also.

Visited for the first time last night and it certainly won't be our last! Gorgeous food and excellent service, all at a very reasonable price.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our night out at the Travellers Wells, the food was excellent and the service was excellent as well, would definately go there again

Went for sunday lunch had very nice meal. Meals are very large Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends Busy pub nice atmosphere. Staff all very welcoming
