Booked table for 18:00 Turned up 5 minutes late at 18:05 to find the restaurant closed. Went to Jamdani restaurant in Whickham & had an excellent meal. Viceroy's loss Jamdani's gain.

Visited for a catch up with friends. Ate from set menup with a good selection of dishes to choose from. Delicious food. Can take your own alcoholic drinks as well as buying on premises. Good service.

Great food and friendly service. Would recommend giving it a try.

Great company and great food. Attentive but not too familiar service.

The restaurant was almost empty and had no atmosphere. When I pointed out that the food was at the spice level I ordered the waiter told me that the feedback couldn't go back to the chef and they don't complain or feedback downstairs here like other restaurants. First and last time here.

The friendly staff, food, atmosphere, decor were excellent. However the service was fairly slow we waited over 30 minute for our starters to arrive.

First visit but I plan to return. Good food and waiter very attentive. Great to be able to take your own wine.

It was a bit quiet for a Saturday night, but not sure why, as we had a great experience. The food and service were both excellent and it was also good value for money. Will definitely be going back 😃

Another lovely meal ......... however, the presentation was not up to the normal standard which I thought made the difference to other Indian restaurants.. we”ll go back and try again though 😊

Always been a great meal but the slow service and unorganised staff spoiled our night.

The food was delicious but the service was very slow even though they were nit particularly busy. The sizzlers caught in everyone's throats which resulted in a lit of coughing!!!!!

Fantastic food, great service, good value for money and lovely atmosphere and surrounding. We will definitely come back. Take away is also excellent, tasty, good portion size and tastes just like the restaurant.

Only 1 waiter took forever to get served a lot of customers not happy ☹️ They did apologise food was ok had better starters were lovely

It was New Years Eve. Restaurant about half full. Excellent special menu and reasonably priced too. Service was good, food was exceptional. Manager was very friendly and spent time taking to guests. A nice touch to circulate among diners offering free top ups of wine made for a an excellent evening.

Best inidan food by far, ambience food service all exceptional - I can honestly say tonigh'ts new years eve banquet was the best indian food i have ever had the slow cooked lamb was out of this world

We went to celebrate Father’s Day. Meal was delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. It was my second time there after celebrating my birthday there a few weeks before. Will definitely go back 😊
