Established in 1857 and originally a coaching inn, The Vine Tree Llangattock is a now a restaurant that aims to showcase the best of Welsh. It starts with the location. You’ll find The Vine Tree Llangattock on Legar Road on a beautiful patch looking towards Crickhowell, the thirteen arched stone bridge and Table Mountain. Then, the kitchen sources only the finest local produce to prepare home-style food that’s hard to resist. For lunch or for dinner you can expect quality, quality, quality in the way of traditional Welsh dishes like rump of lamb with wild garlic, rissole, mint jelly and purple sprouting broccoli. The Vine Tree Llangattock is an absolute treat and one of our favourite restaurants in Brecon Beacons. Reservations are essential.
We had a lovely evening with fabulous service, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our food was delicious and perfectly cooked with some tasty unusual twists. Great to have such a great restaurant on our doorstep.
Great service and wonderful food. Restuarant has a clean modern feel inside and is obviously very popular. We intend to visit again before heading home from our holiday.
Second visit to the Vine tree Food was wonderful and the staff were excellent. Prompt service and steaks to die for. The Vine tree rocks!
Beautiful place with good drink selection. The food is almost there. Mussels and venison were delicious, the crispy lamb starter was average. Will definately return soon.
Service and food all of very good standard. Some unusual dishes, along with classics sucb as burger and fish and chips. Will definitely be returning.
