The Waterside Restaurant & Bar sits on the banks of the canal that links Liverpool and Leeds, along Wharf street in the Bradford town of Shipley. It’s great to take advantage of good weather and dine al fresco, but otherwise The Waterside offers a lovely interior in which to enjoy a range of modern British dishes. The a la carte menu changes with the seasons, and you can be sure to find new and exciting dishes to choose from each time you visit thanks to the imaginative kitchen crew’s restless search for the best.

The Waterside Restaurant & Bar sources all its meat from the longest established butcher in Bradford butcher J. Hutchinson, who set up shop way back in 1889. All the meat here is locally-reared and traceable. Fish and seafood is delivered fresh to The Waterside’s waterfront kitchen in Shipley from Ramus in Harrogate, one of the most respected fishmongers in the country. This makes for superlative steak nights and delicious dishes like the bass fillets with pak choi, cauliflower and sweet potato or the loin of monkfish with smoked bacon, new potatoes, spinach and rosemary.
