Located inside a historic building on The Square in Swanage, a five minute walk from the pier, The White Swan has lots of traditional charm, the perfect setting to tuck into hearty home-style British cuisine in, paired with a pint or two, making it a favourite among locals as well as visitors to the area. Whether it's for lunch, dinner or a roast on a sunday, the menu has something to suit all tastes and occasions. We recommend beginning with some creamy garlic mushrooms served with a warm baguette, before moving on to the homemade steak & piddle pie or beer-battered haddock served with steak cut chips, garden peas and tartare sauce. To guarantee a table at The White Swan, booking in advance is recommended.
Excellent. Saturday night I accidentally booked wrong White Swan on the net. Found us a table despite being full. Good servioce. Friendly staff. Good food.
Food to a high quality, served and seated very quickly. Although we felt like was overstaying our welcome due to the fact they closed the kitchen at half seven.
