Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
Located inside a historic building on The Square in Swanage, a five minute walk from the pier, The White Swan has lots of traditional charm, the perfect setting to tuck into hearty home-style British cuisine in, paired with a pint or two, making it a favourite among locals as well as visitors to the area. Whether it's for lunch, dinner or a roast on a sunday, the menu has something to suit all tastes and occasions. We recommend beginning with some creamy garlic mushrooms served with a warm baguette, before moving on to the homemade steak & piddle pie or beer-battered haddock served with steak cut chips, garden peas and tartare sauce. To guarantee a table at The White Swan, booking in advance is recommended.

Sunday Iunch visit. Good value roast and good selection of pub grub mainstays plus daily specials board.
Food was nice, service was awful. Main meal came out, didn't receive starter so had to cancel it. Ordered mash with pies but got chips so had to wait about another 10 minutes for a plate of mash. Ordered a steak medium rare but it came well done. Won't be returning.
Food to a high quality, served and seated very quickly. Although we felt like was overstaying our welcome due to the fact they closed the kitchen at half seven.
