The service to order drinks and the meal was very slow at the beginning. Everything was nice except the brownie was too dry and needed more sauce/ice cream. The chef was obliging to requests to vary slightly from the menu. We'd go again.

Adults food was great as always plus nice beer and wine. Didn't have starters this time but usually they are good too. Kids chicken was a bit overdone though.

Our first visit for our party of 5 adults and 2 children was a complete success. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would certainly go again.

Went for sunday dinner for fathers day and the food was cold and the roast potatoes tasted like they had been sitting on a hot plate going cold so they had lost there crispiness. Even warm gravy would of been nice. The pub had a lovely enviroment but the food did not live up to expectation was very disappointing. Expecially when we were treating our dad on fathers day.

Have been twice in the last couple of months for Sunday lunch. The food and service have been excellent. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent staff, lovely environment, but food was disappointing...we ordered the roast which arrived lukewarm and tasted bland in parts. The gravy was thin and the meat fatty. I was surprised as this place has had very good reviews.

Nice relaxed evening meal. Good ambience and nice choice of menu. Prices are mid-range which given the pleasant facilities is on the positive side. Will return.

Roast potatoes was poor, been standing to long. Deserts was really good and great service. Other than that it was really good food and we will return.

Party of six all enjoyed their meal. No complaints from anyone. All persons served together so their was a slightly longer wait to be served, not a problem as there were six of us. Starters and drinks served quickly after sitting down. Meal booked on line, no problems with this all went OK. Will return for a meal here again at sometime.

The food and service is outstanding, I didn't feel rushed to eat my meal and I felt very relaxed. I would highly recommend a visit here to anyone.

Had a lovely meal here on a Monday evening with 10 friends. Food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Fish and chip special for £5.90 went down very well. Would go and again and recommend to others.

There were 9 of us, one main meal was forgotten! When the meal eventually came it was served with chips rather than the new potatoes stated on the menu, (salmon fillet with chips!!!) although we weren't charged for this meal. We had previously visited at Xmas and the service was much the same but returned to give them a second chance!! Sorry but won't be returning for a third, shame as nice environment.

This was our first time to visit the Wilford Green Pub and Kitchen. It was a carvery we wanted and we were not disappointed. The service was good and the food also. Looks like the Fish and Chips on Monday evening is a good deal, must try it out.

Sunday lunch with partner and young child. Surroundings fine. Menu choice okay. Chicken and beef roasts good but spoilt by over-cooked roast potatoes and over-crispy Yorkshire puds.

My wife doesn't eat meat but was looking forward to the seabass once we had sat down and ordered drinks we was then told that they had none of the fish on the menu due to a failed delivery..! I mean come on get of your arse and go buy some from supermarket and supply your customer!!

Nice as always, menu a little thinner now but still tasty. Puddings a bit better actually and beer still good so I was happy. Definitely recommend and plenty of offers on during the week.

Service was a bit slow, but was very busy for a Wednesday night. Food was great which it what we expected based on previous occasions. There were a couple of large groups which made it a bit noisy.

Lovely atmosphere! Food is nice but the menu could be more exciting. A bit pricey but they do good offers - I tend to look out for those.

Great value for money Really friendly and helpful staff. Went with disabled people and the table was changed to a closer area to reduce walking at their suggestion. Will be going again.

Service was fantastic. The food was slightly disappointing. Starter. Was Cold and undercooked. The burger was cold undercooked and the bun was dripping in grease. The chips were the best thing on the plate. All other extra's were extremely greasy.

Restaurant was beautiful and very tasteful. Food was good but not quite what we'd expected. Floors and toilets however were very dirty, which was a great disappointment.

The food is nice and our three kids ate for free... although the overall bill was a bit more than we'd pay elsewhere. Efficient service but could be a bit more attentive.

Efficient booking system. We increased from 5 to 6 over the phone and that worked fine. Nice atmosphere - it was not too busy at 3 p.m. on a Sunday - we thought it would be. All had traditional roasts, including quite a large children's portion. This is our second visit and we enjoyed it.

We went to the Wilford Green on a Saturday lunch-time for the first time for a family meal. We liked the look of the place- it was nicely laid out, with a relaxed atmosphere, and a good range of drinks at the bar. The food overall was good - apart from the bread and olive starter which was just a few triangles of curly sliced white. The main courses when they eventually came were very good, in particular the specials. The service was too slow, which in a half full restaurant was very disappointing, and inattentive - one drinks order was forgotten. We had to chase the server for the food, which took 45 minutes from order. Nothing that some better training wouldn't sort out, I guess. So overall a bit disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere, staff are very friendly and helpful. Menu not quite as varied as it used to be but food is excellent. A bit more expensive than average pub food but you get what you pay for.

Great lunch to celebrate my birthday. Good light lunch menu. The fish cakes were delicious. Nice ambience. Reasonably priced. We often come on a Friday night and always have our work do's at the Wilford Green as they do a very good set price lunch with various nice specials too.

Booked originally as it is a dog friendly pub but decided to leave dog at home. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. Not overpriced and unrushed. Will definitely eat here again.
