Really lovely pub, very cosy, beautiful decorations for Christmas. Fire lit. Great food too and staff so attentive during our meal. Group of 8 with children. Half way point meeting with friends and will definitely visit again

We have visited the Woolpack many times this year. We have been happy with the overall package. We were taking my sister and brother in law here for a meal. The service was superb, as was the food. My wife has some food allergies. The waitress had remembered them from a previous visit back in March. Very impressed. They must see so many face come through here, so it is nice to be remembered and especially the details such as those. We will continue to dine here as it just works on so many levels, service, food, cost. It gets all the things it should get right, right!

A very echoing room, luckily not to busy when we went. But we always go here as it’s walking distance from where we live. So it’s nice to have a few drinks too.

As always the food and service were excellent. Will keep on coming back as the prices are reasonable for such nice food. Good to see someone making this place work for the area.

As always the Woolpack are able to accommodate my wife’s dietary restrictions without any issues. Food is always tasty and hot. Staff are always very friendly. Kirsty has always been really helpful. This place is always really busy and deservedly so.

Very quick service, great food - The roasts were amazing!

Very long wait for food, had to chase. It was ok, but not really worth the wait. Roast Pork without crackling! Apparently chef was not able to cook it! Very warm restaurant no ventilation.

The restaurant was very busy today but the service was excellent. The food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait for anything. The salted caramel dessert was to die for.

Great atmosphete and service. Ordered a spicey dish but was disappointed with the taste, needed hotting up, was well presented thou and looked great, just the taste that let it down.

Man serving us was pleasant and enjoyed banter. Good gravy! Decent portion sizes and plenty of choice, so much so that we couldn’t decide! Great!
