Excellent food - had the curry goat and plantain. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Nice place with a lovely atmosphere. Happy hour from 5-8pm too!
This restaurant was average. Of all the places to eat in Brixton - especially Jamaican restaurants it was totally average. Fish Wings and Tings is much more authentic and much larger portions and much better value for money.
A very pleasant date night experience. The food was as tasty as ever and service was also good. I will likely become a regular here.
Loved it! Very nice food. Very nice service! Intimate and well presented would definitely go again and would recommend to everyone to try it x
Lovely intimate venue, great music and ambiance with delicious Jamaican cuisine. Great spot for a Saturday evening supper. Oh and the cocktails are amazing too!
The atmosphere was fantastic. Staff were pleasant and very friendly. It was very busy so there was a lot of waiting but the music was entertaining so we didn't mind at all. The food was soooo good. Perfect serving sizes, bags of flavour. I was in love with the Oxtail Shepards Pie; the veg were to die for! I will be paying Three Little Birds another visit for sure.
Nice food, good service and great music. I need to enter 25 words so I'll just type a few more to get to that number.
We went for brunch to celebrate my birthdsy. Great service and fantastic cocktails. The food was nice but it would have been great to add some veg to the Jamaican breakfast to give it a bit of colour. Avo on toast was yum as was the pancakes.
Excellent tasty food, particularly the chicken wings. Good menu selection, friendly efficient service, a very nice setting. Only regret, didn't stay for dessert! Would definitely recommend. Will definitely return.
Fantastic, relaxed service. The food was delicious, simple, plentiful and filled with flavour. Bottomless prosecco was a very welcome touch too. Oh and great prices.
Nice Caribbean food. The curry goat was tender and the chicken wings were a decent portion. However it was a bit chilly and the starters ("small plates") were quite expensive - almost as expensive as the mains.
I love this place - the food and service has always been perdect. On this occasion however, I think there must've been a new member of the front of house team, as the waiter seemed to be struggling a bit. We ordered two drinks, and a few bits for dinner. My main course and my partner's drink didn't arrive and we needed to chase. The owner/manager made every effort to make it up to us though - remembering us from previous visits and making us feel very welcome and cared for, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal too - as always!
Uncomplicated. Chilled place. Food is great, not lots of choice which is good! and everything done well. Relaxed and friendly. Okra chips, chilli calamari, plantain, coconut sorbet. Beginning, middle, end. Can't go wrong.
Ive been few times now and always get excellent, polite and quick service but the food can be hit or miss, e.g. watery stew to point of bland and other times over seasoned spicy/salty burger. Chef needs to stop letting the team down.
Great food, lovely service and the staff were efficient and welcoming. Loved my cocktail as well, drinks were but more on the expensive side but food was well priced.
Friendly staff. Food was tasty. Tables are a bit small, but a nice pleasant atmosphere. Bill including wine and cocktail wasn't that expensive. Would go again.
Good service, great food! Nice calm atmosphere and great Caribbean cocktails the Hurricane was particularly good. They also gave us a peice of cake with a candle for my friends birthday.
The food is delicious, the service friendly and the music is great - but every time I've been, the food takes a long time to come out from the kitchen...
The food here is extremely tasty, well cooked and satisfying. The service is impeccable; they cannot do enough for you and all stuff have extensive knowledge about the menu. I enjoyed my visit here and would highly recommend it.
Happy hour Drinks was good, food was disappointing (rice was cold, seemed we weren't the only customers to complain about it either). Italian waitress lovely!
Very nice place, good cocktails, slightly expensive. Definitely worth a visit during happy hour! x x x x x x x x x x x
Had a great time at 3 little birds with my partner and mother, its my second time there, food was excellent, the venue is quirky, modern and non offensive and the service was on point, the lady who served us who i think was called Claudia was bubbly, funny and very professional. Will be back for sure.
Nice venue and not too crowded for Brixton. Really helpful staff and nice cocktails and wine. Food was good but needed more spice and heat.
They bought our starters and mains at the same time so we had to ask them to keep them warm. Food was ok. The prawns we lovely aa were the chicken wings. Oxtail was a bit tough. Could have been a bit more spicy too. Curry goat was as expected. Would go again but not for dinner
Great waitress, fab food and a brilliant atmosphere. Nice vibes. Only fault was we sat near the toilets which we could smell at times other than that it was lovely.
Can't wait to go back, very pleasant and vibrant restaurant. Starters and main were amazing. The cocktails are very nice. I just think the owner should have an cocktail named after she cause she beautiful.
I had a great time at Three Little Birds, as was the case on my first visit. Quality food, quality service and quality atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning!
We had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff so very friendly. Thank you three little birds for a lovely time 😀
Portions are way too small. My partner had chicken in brown stew and he got 2 bits of bone in a not spicy bland sauce.
Clearly I really like it there (understatement of the year- so far)... Had a sister day with my sister (funnily enough) everyone was so welcoming and friendly... once we sat down she was like do you work here.. :)
Went here with my friend she had the Ackee and Saltfish with Dumplings she loved it and rightly so, I had a taste and it was really good, the dumplings were amazingly fluffy inside (like a gosh darn cloud) - if I knew what a cloud tasted like... Another great meal. :)
My mum and one of my friends share a birthday and we were going dancing around the area on that night, so as I thoroughly enjoyed the food with my mum I thought why not :D.. It was the only choice that came to mind knowing that I would enjoy the food.. we had a drink there as well the aptly 'Buffalo Soulja' it was delicious..and dangerous, it taste like refreshing juice with a hint of ginger, be it catches up to you in a warm inviting way that you don't see until you're laughing and enjoying yourself :) Thanks K/C/A
I went with colleagues from work and ordered a range of dishes, which we shared. I can't remember much about the food... but the rum cocktails were excellent. :)
The drinks and music are really good! But the food isn't so great. The Mac and cheese was very dry as was the rice x
Food was really, really good and good sized portions too, nothing too big or small. Service with a smile too 😊 Good atmosphere too... Although the cricket was on so of course it was lively!
First time there; lovely place, quite convenient to the Brixton tube stop. Food is a collection of smaller dishes/starters and somewhat larger, single-person dishes. All very nice. Great cocktails, excellent selection of music. Noise at tolerable level, lovely staff.
Three Little Birds is more of a cafe than a restaurant with a limited menu which was chalked onto a blackboard - nothing available in print. Not great if you wanted to peruse the menu for any length of time. The food was very overpriced - a case in point jerk chicken wings for £8 with no sides, and no children's portions. On the plus side the decor is very nice as is the ambience with the reggae of Bob Marley's records being played in the background. Overall though I have to say more style over substance. There are a lot of restaurants in Brixton now so Three Little Birds has to be more competitive.
Excellent food; the happy hour is good value and the atmosphere's good. The curry was quite salty but mixed with other flavours it worked well.
Nice, cosy restaurant with a chill, relaxed atmosphere. Although the menu was a bit sparse, the food was well cooked and nicely presented. I'll definitely visit again.
Unfortunately I wasn't greeted when I got to the restaurant found my own table, took the staff 35mins to come and ask us if we wanted drinks even though nobody had given us a drinks menu, he then brought the menus over, but never came back to ask us for our order. We waited for an additional 20 mins. The restaurant has a nice buzz to it, couldn't Comment on the food or drink. Sorry to say it wasn't a great experience we ended leaving and eating elsewhere. Three little birds need to step up there service I'm afraid
