Tinto Tapas - Hamilton

First time at Tinto Tapas in Hamilton. The food was very very good, my husband and I really enjoyed it. It did take about 50 mins from ordering to serving and I had to remind them about two missing dishes but it was worth the wait and we'll definitely be back. The waiting staff were really lovely also. So, all in all I'd highly recommend, would have scored a 6 if the food had come out a little quicker but I guess it was being made fresh so we'll forgive them!

Great food great price, give it a try .service a little bit slow but very friendly ,cocktails after dinner were very enjoyable and reasonably priced

good selection of quality food - beef in rioja and chicken with black pudding particularly good. It was quiet Sunday afternoon, have visited when busier which adds to atmosphere

The service wasn't good it was really slow, kept forgetting drink orders and going to wrong tables! Waited a long time on just bread to the table and then also found 2 bones in chicken!

There was a great selection of tapas. Each one we had chosen was delicious. We were very well looked after by waiting staff. Will definitely return. no complaints.

A nice choice of tapas and good sevice especially on a tues with the tapas half price the piri piri prawns are not too spicy

I was there with friends for dinner. The food was excellent and strawberry daiquiri cocktails were lovely. Good service throughout the evening and I would definitely return.

The food at Tinto Tapas was really good and I would recommend it. The only down side was the service time. We waited about 35mins for our dessert! I did find myself feeling a bit annoyed at this and almost cancelled it just as it arrived. I would however return in the hope that this improves.

Food was delicious tasty and warm good service from the waiting staff we chose and early sitting and got the three tapas deal reasonably priced nice atmosphere lovely cosmo cocktails to follow weren't rushed away from our table

A bit slow to be offered drinks as only two waiting staff on duty but the food was lovely and plentiful and loads of variety on the menu.

Food was delicious. Service was friendly but not great. Servers forgot a few things. £100 for 12 tapas dishes between 4, 3 desserts, 2 cocktails and a beer. Not bad price.

Excellent food, good wine, good service with friendly staff. Really good value for money. The Gamus pil pil is first class. Order a basket of bread to dip into the tapas sauces, they are excellent.

Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and good food! What more could yu ask for?! The staff were super. The menu and offers were explained clearly so we could get the best deal for us. The food was freshly cooked and tasted lovely. This was our first experience of Tapas and I am sure we will be back.

Really lovely meal. Fresh food, Great Tapas selection. Food was served quick too. Atmosphere was great, created by great decor and music. Staff were really friendly and happy to serve you. A real Gem and I highly recommend a visit. I'll be going back. 👍

I visited with my partner and 12 year old son for breakfast and had high expectations. The pancakes and syrup were nice but there was not enough of them. My partner ordered the big breakfast which he said was nice. However, about 5 minutes into eating we heard the waiter being screamed at from the kitchen which was so unprofessional. We were sitting right next to the entranve, the kitchen is at the very back! No customer should hear that even if the restaurant is almost empty! The waiter, who was actually very nice, returned to our table and apologised for my partner not having beans on his plate and asked if he still wanted them. We didn't even notice they weren't there! Obviously, he lifted the plate without them and then got into trouble for it which I felt was uncalled for. We ordered the turros to take away and the waiter took money off which we did not expect but was nice of him. Sadly, the turros were very disappointing, tasted as if they had been frozen and then defrosted and dipped in alot of sugar. Overall I thought the place was nice if not a bit cold, the waiter was lovely, but the chef needs to control his temper because it has put me off going back to try the dinner!

As always, the food and service was excellent!! We visit regularly and can never fault the staff or food. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening with friends.

nice food in a nice atmosphere....no steak on the menu, not even on the specials board so a wee bit disappointing but apart from that everything else was really fine

Amazing food served with a smile. My favourite restaurant although first time at the Hamilton one I've been to the Uddingston, East Kilbride and Battlefield ones and the food is fantastic in all.

We had a selection of 9 tapas dishes which were all delicious, especially the seafood. Our only issue was that the restaurant was uncomfortably cold which resulted in some of the dishes cooling down before we had a chance to eat them. Otherwise we had a lovely time and would have no problem in recommending the restaurant.

Amazing food and really friendly staff. Their range of tapas is huge and all are delicious. A lovely little cozy place with a great atmosphere.
