I know exactly what food I’m going to get with Toby and come here often. It’s ’help yourself’ to the carvery and there is no rush to leave your seats

Pleased that the vegetables tasted fine and not too hard. Good portion of meats (turkey and beef). Followed by crumble with great tasting custard (wish they did refills)

Busy but queue moved at pace thanks to efficiency of carvery server. Tried a little of everything and excellent value for money

I love the fact that if some vegetables are running a little low on your first carvery visit, you only need to wait 10 minutes and return for more

I love toby food, the only reason I did not score highly was that it was very busy and the queues were lengthy. Some of the vegetables needed topping up

Good mixture of families and couples. Plenty of seating and car parking but best to go late afternoon to avoid busy queues. Not much beef left so had the turkey and pork. They sometimes have crackling if you’re lucky

Service May be a little slow but that’s expected early afternoon. Went for extra large as was feeling particularly hungry. Free and ample car parking

You never know whether the carvery deck will have fresh veg mid afternoon after the lunchtime rush but needn’t have worried. The beef was fine and plenty of vegetables

Toby is one of my favourite restaurants. Always end up with a full belly. Yorkshires and their gravy are spectacular
