We go regularly as Toby Cottage is our favourite restaurant. The food is beautifully cooked and always hot, the staff are so attentive and friendly and I cannot praise them highly enough.

Good varied menu. Festive menu very interesting. Unfortunately, profiteroles were not as good as on previous visits

Food was overall terrible and Wellington seemed like it came from a freezer and not prepared by the kitchen. OK winelist with some interesting Spanish wines with age at great value/price level.

Another fantastic evening at The Toby Cottage, this time with family. Crisp white linen, sparkling glass, amazing food, divine wine and service at its very best. I tried the lobster soup with flaming brandy, heaven. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in surrey and a firm favourite with our family.

Absolutely beautiful food and very nicely presented. The waiters are great fun. There is a fabulous array of wine on offer. One minor thing for us, we would have preferred a choice of new potatoes rather than Spanish potatoes, non the less we still loved it a will return very soon.

As strangers to the area, we 4 met up midway between our homes in Hampshire and London, we found the restaurant through tripadvisor. Toby Cottage was justifiably highly rated, and provided a delicious meal, very friendly and attentive service and allowed us to chat over a leisurely lunch. Ticked all the boxes.

The atmosphere at Toby Cottage is so welcoming and relaxing. Their Set Menu has an excellent choice at a very reasonable price....and it includes the fabulous dessert trolley! They also have a great choice of wines from most European Countries. Attention to detail and service is so natural. The Toby Cottage is the restaurant of choice of my partner and I .....it is just so great!
