We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. Every item looked beautiful as well as tasting good. The staff were great attentive and asked regularly if we needed any 'top ups'. We found it good value for the variety of items we were provided. Highly recommend it.

Excellent food, Excellent service. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great also and adds to the overall experience. Nothing bad to say about our visit.

The restaurant is excellent quality unlike Quandoo who didn’t actually pass on the reservation to Tom Browns! We were lucky that they had a table free. Consequently l will not be using Quandoo again!

Excellent. My steak wasn’t quite how I had expected it to be but it was taken back and another one was cooked to perfection. I always think medium rare is quite tricky. Lovely meal and great experience.

My meal could have done with a little more seasoning as I felt it all tasted the same. The waitress brought the starters before the bread plates had been taken away, so I had to move them myself so she could put the starters on the table. Apart from that, very nice place & food and will return again

Polite staff, great place to chill out and relax and great food. Pricey but worth every penny. We sat outside and if you get cold they have heaters and blankets on offer

All ways consistently good 10/10. This is my go to restaurant, just love love love it. The outside decking area is perfect for a summer lunch or evening and a bonus of being close to the river. Perfect setting both inside and out. Well done TB's

We have now visited twice, when breaking a trek to Tyneside. Well worth the stop, an interesting menu with well cooked, nicely presented food. Good fish, good wine and excellent service.

The location, the service and the food were all quite excellent as usual at this location. One attraction mid-week is the discounted prices which makes the location even more value for money.

Always a great experience and such great value for such good food and service. The owners and their staff always make you feel valued and extremely welcome. Several hours passed very easily and very pleasantly. Always first choice for me.

Food good service poor no check backs to long a wait between courses more interested in cramming as many people as possible into the restaurant first time visit expected better to be honest lovely location though

Three friends, we hadn't been to TB's for years. It was lovely. We all had lovely meals. I am a veggie. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. ( Not easy). Everything looked good and tasted good.

Excellent service from all members of staff. The food was excellent and even better when it was Black Tuesday. Not been for a while, but will certain be returning sooner.

Table booked online within the hour, service friendly & professional. Sun was out so managed to eat outside which was lovely. Food was great quality and reasonably priced.

We have never had a poor meal at Tom Brown's and yesterday evening's meal was well up to standard. It was comfortably busy on a Monday evening and the service was smooth and unhurried. Food excellent. Presentation excellent. A very happy start to the week.

Great food in a lovely location. Service at times was below what I would expect, the staff weren't particularly attentive and no one asked if we enjoyed our food, etc but the majority staff appeared to be very young which may explain it. Nonetheless would consider a return.

Lovely food and great service. My only reservation is that the tables are a little close to each other so it can feel a bit cramped.

Good food the food has got back to where it was a few years ago, the service was good, and we enjoyed our meal there.
