Nice atmosphere and food. Steaks and main menu meals very good. 25% off deal left good value for money. Fire in bar so nice and cosy.

Some food wasn't freshly prepared such as the deserts so seemed like they were just microwaved and didn't get many chips with the kebab so was still hungry after the meal.

Food was ok, service very poor seemed very haphazard and disorganised the seats we were given very uncomfortable more like park benches best I can say is average

Well we keep going back lol. They now have started to remember us.... 200 means customers at door 900 drinks to tables Will keep going back as long as staff and food stay so good

The food at Toronto lodge is beautiful and always cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly & helpful. The atmosphere is is lovely and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Chips were awful. Obviously they had been cooked hours ago and reheated. They were soggy. Will not go back. Meal on the whole was below average

No lager as cellar not working. I ordered the Rabbit and Black pudding pie only to be told it would be 25 minutes as it was not ready. I then ordered the pork belly. My husband ordered a rare to medium rare steak. My husband's steak was over cooked and dry and my belly pork was under cooked. He was offered another steak but by this point we had had enough. I was told that pork is a fatty meat. As an ex landlady who has run eateries for years I was very disappointed. We were regulars but we won't be going back.

The second time this month Both times had good food good service and we both like the decor had the open fire on this time and who don't love a pint of real ale in front of a fire We are lucky as my job allows us to eat out of normal hours which is always a bonus

Lovely place great service but sunday lunch was ..re heated or kept hit so it was dried out which was a shame. Will try the main menu next time which is hopefully made to order.

Lovely food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Reservation online was easy and I received a call back to confirm our booking and deal with a query I had. Will be back.

As we went for a late Sunday lunch were pleasantly surprised it was still good. The drinks, service and atmosphere were also good, would go again. Would recommend

The veg was very disappointing, cabbage nearly raw, carrots were roasted I think and a little burnt. The potato had little flavour and turnip was very lumpy. Pitty as the meat was tasty and gravy lovely. Was expensive at £40 for main courses for 2 adults and 1 child and only 1 soft drink each. Will not rush back here. Very disappointing, we did say to the lady in black who we paid who offered an apology but did not seem bothered.

Food was so nice will defo be bk and mybe with a lot of uz massive lovely food and drink were really good price x

Toronto Lodge is a nice place,with friendly staff, but the food lets it down. It was totally uninspired. It wasn't bad, it was ok, but no more.

Starter of onion soup was loaded with sugar probably to disguise the fact the onions were not caremalised but softened onions in weak gravy with lots of sugar added. I am diabetic and the sweetness for me was terrible. The Sunday lunch however was delicious.

Went here with my mum for a light bite.. We had l lovely home made early bird meals, good service and between 4 and 5 it was not too busy...just hit the spot.

Really like the interior of this place nice relaxed atmosphere and the food is lovely now waiting for the new menu husband wants to try the rabbit pie 🥧

Love the decor and the food we had (Sunday menu) was beautiful, however from our table and what we saw of those around us the customer service needs to be improved. Staff are lovely but there does not appear to be a clear system in place meaning customers are either excessively seen to or not at all. Our drinks also came a while after our food which was not ideal, and we left a little earlier than we would have liked due to the heat of the conservatory. Not enough to put us off returning but some tweaks need to be made.

Unfortunately it wasnt great tonight. It was mixed grill night and although it was only £8.95 including a drink. The gammon was not cooked and we had to send it back. We will go back though as we still like it. Its our local and the staff and ambience are great!

There was obviously problems happening the night I came. Staff where telling people a lot of things weren’t available. We arrived early and were accommodated, but I am glad we were early as waited around an hour for food. A lot of patrons heading to kynren so tied by time. Kynren runs over a couple of months and Toronto lodge advertises its self as the closed restaurant to the event so I would think they were prepared for this. I obviously don’t know how many staff work in the kitchen but it certainly seemed like they could have done with extra. Ordered two hanging kebabs and chips which where nice but nothing special I would even be so bold as to say I make a nicer one at home, and I am by no means a chef. Staff working on the floor where excellent my heart went out to the poor lady rushing round dishing out apology after apology and facing the disgruntled patrons. First visit, loved the quirky decor and really wanted to give a more positive review but cannot unfortunately honesty not sure if I’ll be back.

Excellent. Great food My portion (hunters chicken) was a touch small, but 3 people I ate with, theirs looked fantastic! Good service! Very reasonable Fantastic evening

Great food and service. Excellent place to eat before going to Kynren. Would recommend. Good choice on the menu and the prices are very good.

Second visit and can not praise it highly enough. Great food and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Will be back again very soon.

Lovely atmosphere, portions were small, food was fresh, would go again but would need something more substantial to fill me or a light snack before arriving

A lovely meal. Staff are always welcoming and the food was delicious. Service was slow but the quality of the food more than made up for it.

Been many times before .. on this occasion the staff and service as always were excellent Starters were fabulous we had garlic mushrooms Beer ran out Chips were greasy Hanging kebabs were not very tasty Belly pork was lovely Overall not our best visit

We enjoyed the surroundings & atmosphere & staff . Steak needed to be sent back but full refund given without asking . Salad was nice but over taken by green salad leaves . Would return but change our food choices

Nice staff and food acceptable. Menu a little restricted. It was very busy but they kept us informed of the delay. Would consider going again
