Town Hall Tavern Leeds is everything you’d expect from a country village pub but right in the heart of the city. On Westgate and right in the mixer for all that Leeds has to offer, Town Hall Tavern is all about high-quality pub fare that’s British through and through. Next to the food there are award-winning Timothy Taylor’s ales, lagers from all over the world and some damn fine wines. Topped off with warm service courtesy of a team who care about what they’re doing, we can’t think of anything not to love about Town Hall Tavern Leeds. Reserve a table and head there with family, your mates or colleagues. Lovely.
In the very centre of Leeds, Town Hall Tavern is cosy and rustic. It’s a pleasant space with lots of dark wood and a traditional-style bar that’s lined with proper ale pumps. Speaking of which, the selection of ale here on Westgate is second to none in the area and you’ll find options for whatever’s tickling your fancy. In fact, Town Hall Tavern is one of only three pubs in the entire country to sell all five Timothy Taylor’s championship beers, and it’s been awarded a cask marque accreditation for quality of cellar management. If you want a proper pint, Town Hall Tavern Leeds is where to head.
In terms of food, the Town Hall Tavern Leeds menu makes use of as much local Yorkshire produce as possible to offer the very best British fare. In fact, Town Hall Tavern puts it perfectly themselves as they insist that great food and flavour starts with the freshest and best seasonal ingredients, hence they always buy the best and work only with suppliers who are passionate about their products. This means both the lunch and dinner menus change according to season but at all times you’ll find great British classics. Some done traditionally, some done with bags of contemporary finesse. Get involved with this city centre gem as soon as you can.
Great food at the Town Hall Tavern, nice atmosphere. Would recommend.
Excellent food and service in a traditional pub environment. Well presented and very tasty at excellent prices. Will defiantly return to sample the rest of the varied menu.
What a gem. Nice small pub with very nice landlord and landlady. The staff behind the bar were very friendly. I received a table and asked if we could be sat in a corner as it was a small birthday meal. When we arrived I got exactly what I asked for. The food was excellent we all ordered different dishes. And if I had to choose I could not each dish well presented and the flavours of each dish were outstanding. I would definitely recommend this pub
