Travellers Rest - Pensford

first visit to the travellers rest great Sunday roast will definitely return

TR have just been taking over with a new team . The portion sizes apart from the actual meat (which was fine ) have shrunk but prices has risen . Not enough veg or potatoes. We had two small roast pots and a small new potatoe cut in half . All meats are the same price normally beef would be the more expensive but the chicken was the same price

Beautiful views,lovely staff ,portions smaller than they used to be. Food quality excellent.

Such a warm welcome from Tracey. Thanks for accommodating our food requests. So refreshing and easy, not having to make a fuss. The food was all freshly made and so delicious. Friendly Staff and excellent service. My Roast potatoes were slightly burnt and dry which was a shame because the rest of the meal was beautifully cooked. I will certainly be going back again very soon .

Travellers Rest is our regular go-to place for a Sunday Lunch. the food is always exceptional, service excellent, and the courteousness of the staff is a rare find. I cannot fault them and am happy to recommend this amazing pub for a good traditional meal. One of the staff is expecting a baby in 2 weeks, and we wish her all the very best. Such a nice young lady :)
