Travelled from Lincoln to meet someone half way to celebrate a birthday. Had never been before. We arrived early to a warm welcome and the evening just got better. The food was amazing the service fantastic and will travel 40 mins again to meet friends/family there. We even had an umbrella escort at the end! Thank you!!
An hidden gem; fabulous food, attentive and friendly staff in an idyllic setting. Thoroughly enjoyed my birthday meal and have already booked to go back again very soon.
A lovely setting with gorgeous food. Staff were attentive without being overly so and they have a good sense of humour. A very enjoyable experience. We will be going again
Very friendly staff and good value, excellent quality food. Undercharged us and, when we pointed it out they knocked it off the bill anyway. Excellent, high class surroundings too.
It was the first time that we had been to Venezia a friend off mine had recommended it as she has been a few time and has said how nice it was,so we thought it would be nice to take my husband there for his birthday,we took our daughter with us,my husband and I enjoyed our food but when it came to my daughters it wasn't that nice it was risotto and it was very greasy,we let the head waiter know about this and he told the chef ,so when we came to pay they didn't charge us for it which I thought was very nice off them. So over all it was a very nice evening would go back again.i would only go back if it was a special event as it is a little expensive if it was a day today thing
The restaurant is out of the way, so you need to make sure you know where it is. The choice of meals was excellent and our two 3 course dinners were superb. I had buffalo and tomato to start followed by fillet steak in a Diane sauce with profiteroles for dessert. This washed down with a couple of glasses of house red. My wife had a mushroom dish to start, followed by Sea Bass and then a trio of ice cream. Everything was excellent. I would whole-heartedly recommend this restaurant. The service was also excellent.
Excellent experience once again; just one thing - no one checked when we arrived to see if we had a reservation. We had put in a special request (asking for a corner table, back to wall, and also indicated that this was a gourmet society card booking; we then had to request again the table - luckily it wasn't full so there were several possible locations, and had to make a last minute check, when about to pay, to ensure that the Gourmet Society discount would be applied ). , However food all very good - though possibly the quattro stagioni pizza was slightly stodgy and too many peppers, not enough artichoke/prosciutto
Food was good, service good, if anything over attentive, as they seem keen to clear your plates before you have finished. Lacking atmosphere though, on the night we visited it felt like they had just opened, the younger staff very shy and awkward, the senior staff a little too stiff and formal. OK, but not the sort of fun place we had expected.
We visited the Restaurant on a Friday night. We were seated and served quickly, and the staff were very friendly . unfortunately our table was dirty and was never cleaned so we did it ourselves. The food was lovely but my partners was presented on a burnt plate and look awful, which is a shame because like I said the food was nice.Presentation is everything and that really let them down.
Really lovely place and the staff are great. The food seems a little hit and miss - great seafood, some good pastas, the wine is good but the prosecco not so. Will go again as they are so friendly and I think it has potential.
A really lovely restaurant with great staff and great food. Wide choice on the menu and will definitely be going back again in the very near future
Lovely venue and outstanding food and service. Attentive and mindful of having a young child with us. (serving her main course whilst we had starters etc).
Excellent meal. Haven't had a beautiful large Dover sole like that for years. Very attentive waiters. We must go there more often. Gerry and Anette
Good food / decent amount of choice / nice specials menu. A shame it's quite far out of the city but well worth the journey
