If you love Italian food as much as we do, you’ll be a big fan of Venezia Italian on Westminster Drive in Radcliffe-on-Trent... Located not far from Nottingham, this Italian restaurant is endlessly popular with locals in the know, with people coming from far and wide for a taste of the amazing meals the chefs at Venezia Italian whip up. Set in an ancient Saxon building, Venezia Italian has an almost regal feel to it, and you’ll certainly be treated like royalty by the staff here too! With a stunning alfresco terrace for warmer weather, and a bar where you can unwind in the colder months, this place truly has it all.
Next time you’re heading out for dinner with a group of friends or family at this Radcliffe-on-Trent gem, we highly recommend starting out your meal with a selection of antipasti to share such as calamari fritti served with tartare sauce, prosciutto con mozzarella with sun-blushed tomatoes and fresh basil, and formaggio caprino (goats’ cheese topped with caramelised onions). For mains, there are just too many options at this spot, but whether you go for pizza, chicken, pasta, seafood, risotto or steak you’ll be in for a treat! It was really nice atmosphere in there. The food was lovely and the staff were very welcoming. Definitely would go there again for food. :)
The pizza was great and the service was very fast. Staff were very polite, professional and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon!
Great choice in menu, returned with a friend who is gluten free, a whole menu for her to choose from. Friendly staff as always. Lovely food and atmosphere.
Excellent well presented food and great service. Good selection of gluten free dishes including pastas and pizza. Wide selection of fish and a comprehensive range of wines all at reasonable prices.
It was the first time that we had been to Venezia a friend off mine had recommended it as she has been a few time and has said how nice it was,so we thought it would be nice to take my husband there for his birthday,we took our daughter with us,my husband and I enjoyed our food but when it came to my daughters it wasn't that nice it was risotto and it was very greasy,we let the head waiter know about this and he told the chef ,so when we came to pay they didn't charge us for it which I thought was very nice off them. So over all it was a very nice evening would go back again.i would only go back if it was a special event as it is a little expensive if it was a day today thing
The restaurant is out of the way, so you need to make sure you know where it is. The choice of meals was excellent and our two 3 course dinners were superb. I had buffalo and tomato to start followed by fillet steak in a Diane sauce with profiteroles for dessert. This washed down with a couple of glasses of house red. My wife had a mushroom dish to start, followed by Sea Bass and then a trio of ice cream. Everything was excellent. I would whole-heartedly recommend this restaurant. The service was also excellent.
Excellent experience once again; just one thing - no one checked when we arrived to see if we had a reservation. We had put in a special request (asking for a corner table, back to wall, and also indicated that this was a gourmet society card booking; we then had to request again the table - luckily it wasn't full so there were several possible locations, and had to make a last minute check, when about to pay, to ensure that the Gourmet Society discount would be applied ). , However food all very good - though possibly the quattro stagioni pizza was slightly stodgy and too many peppers, not enough artichoke/prosciutto
First time there - a family get together with several birthday celebrations with our ages 25 - 80. Everyone loved the evening and had nothing but positive comments. The food was delicious, the portions more than ample and the choice extensive. The service was attentive but not intrusive. It's a great little gem away from the city and will definitely come again.
We had a lovely time with friends, my friend was celebrating his 85th birthday a few days before and he really enjoyed it I’m fact he is going to book a table at the end of the month with his son and wife, and we are coming back at the end of April for my granddaughters 1st birthday with the family .🤗
Travelled from Lincoln to meet someone half way to celebrate a birthday. Had never been before. We arrived early to a warm welcome and the evening just got better. The food was amazing the service fantastic and will travel 40 mins again to meet friends/family there. We even had an umbrella escort at the end! Thank you!!
