Veranda Lounge

Lovely food and when we arrived we had a warm welcome and good service throughout the meal. Everyone at the meal said they would definitely return.

We dined in the evening ,Brilliant food and service. The restaurant is beautifully furnished giving a great feeling of luxury and calmness. We shall certainly be dining there again. There are very pleasant view across the dock area and there is a lovely lounge area if you just want a drink,

Probably the best indian around. Enjoyed the atmospbere and the food was outstanding. Fairly priced and the service was fantastic. Will defo be going again

We received a warm welcome, the food was excellent, the waitress was very attentive and the bill was very reasonable - largely due to the voucher we had bought beforehand. We will visit again but only after we’ve purchased another voucher.

Lovely food and some different dishes to your average indian - I had chilli calamari to start and then duck as a main course. Very friendly staff and good service.

I thought it was ok - nothing beyond that really. Food was acceptable without being great. Service was acceptable without being great. Nothing to really complain about but nothing to rave about either.

Greeted by the Owner who was friendly yet professional. Restaurant decor is lovely and extremely clean. Service was efficient and food was some of the best we have had was out shopping with 3 friends and this was a great way of being able to relax and talk over food half way through the day. Definitely worth a revisit.

The food was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful . All four of us had a very enjoyable meal and evening . We would definitely go back .

The food was good but service was slow and needs some improving. This may be due to being a relatively new place to eat and may improve once established?

It was our first visit. We found the staff very friendly. Food was lovely. Only downside was we were near the door and found it a bit cold. Will visit again.

First visit to the Veranda Longe. Very impressed. Four of us really enjoyed our choice of meals. We also had a bottle of red wine that was good as a light red with a reasonable price for a waterside restaurant. We will go again.

We had excellent service and food in a very relaxed setting. Prefect for a mid week lunch with lovely views over the dock area and waterways.

Amazing food, amazing service, the decor is really lovely, very contemporary. The position of the Veranda Lounge is really beautiful and I imagine in the daylight even more so. We will return

Very Nice Restaurant. The food was really good, We would happily go again and take more friends with us. Service was quick and easy and good value for money.

Went with a party of four last Sat night......we ordered two poppadums each..only got one but were charged for two......I ordered the lamb shank...supposedly specially cooked by the chef...it was still frozen inside...I returned it but when it was brought back it was still frozen.....did not eat it !...the other meals were OK however...not a very good experience for a first visit since the restaurant was changed from buffet style to a la carte......they did remove the lamb shank from the bill however but I did not enjoy the experience....very dubious about going again.which is a pity as they have made the place appear inviting...pity they could not get the food right..

Great food and service. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It is nicely situated on the quays. Definitely will be going back in the future.

The food was excellent. Well presented and large portions. Large range of choices available on both the food and drinks menu. So plenty to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal! :)!

We were advised that the restaurant had changed from a buffet style so thought we would give it a go, there were 8 of us and the staff were great and food was excellent.

Loved the new decor, very welcoming as was the staff. Booked for a surprise birthday meal and it didn't disappoint. The meals were delicious and made even better with the birthday cake served at the table. Will definitely be coming back as the menu was exciting.

Good food with fair choice of dishes and nice, smart interior, but service was a bit slow and not too attentive - some other customers walked out having apparently waited a long time to be served. Reasonable value.

Amazing service and food! And I was impressed by the pricing too. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good curry. The naan bread was really tasty too.

Very insistent service, not really busy, food ok but small portions and not really very spicy. I'm afraid I won't be going again as it was rather bland overall.

A truly lovely experience in the "new look" Vinings, now Veranda Lounge. Food was extremely good and certainly up to its usual standard. The whole place was very welcoming, and my party was very impressed. We shall try the Evening Menu very soon. Congratulations to all involved in the change, and all good wishes for the future.

Nice restaurant overlooking the water at Gloucester Quays. Service was excellent and food of a very high standard and different dishes available to normal Indian restaurants. Will definitely be returning soon.

The food was really good, however the service was not so good, we were served a three course meal in under an hour and the restaurant was not that busy to warrant such speedy service

The food is always of a very high standard, with a huge choice. The staff are extremely courteous. I have eaten at The Vinings many, many times and it has always been absolutely brilliant. Yesterday I brought a friend with me who was absolutely delighted. Thank you, Graham

Food was excellent. The best curry I have had in a long while. The service was good and friendly and the price was very reasonable for both drinks and food. Would definitely go again.
