Vivo Italian Restaurant

The lasagne was very nice, the chicken dish was a little plain but great atmosphere. Drinks a little pricey, £5 for vodka, lime & lemonade.

Shouldn't sell cocktails if you don't know how to make them, a mojito is not hard but is not nice if not made correctly, theirs was dreadful sent it back and had G&T instead. Food was nothing special. Only went here as it was all we could get into last minute, that should have told us something, place nearly empty!

This is the second time my friends and I have visited Vivo for a night out for a meal (Friday 22 July2016). We go out once a month trying different restaurants in the Corby/Kettering area. It is fair to say that this restaurant has a very good atmosphere, we dined at 8:00PM and it was full. The food is of a very good standard and the owner and staff are very professional. I guess we will return again in the very near future.

Nice restaurant and friendly staff. Food was nice and tasty and was quick to come out. Although the restaurant was empty during our visit we still enjoyed ourselves.

This was a second visit to Vivo, it continued to kelvin up to expectation with great, tasty food, good friendly service but would benefit from air conditioning.

Beautiful food - seafood was delicious and pizza bases fluffy! Unfortunately they got my order rather wrong and we had to wait further for our meals whist they rectified it, but no questions asked and was sorted immediately x

Vivo Italian Restaurant food good. Remember any extras like salad chips etc cost you extra with most being 95p. The Restaurant was very warm as there are no windows that open and no air condition. Staff very good.

We had a lovely meal and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! We took in a birthday cake earlier in the day as a surprise and the staff were more than happy to bring it out in the evening and sing to my husband! Will definitely go back again!

Lovely meal and atmosphere, with good service but lacked just a little refinement in etiquette and delivery. However it was good value and well cooked and enjoyed by all.

We had the set menu which was good value. Although the supplements do add up! We had a lovely bottle of Gavi wine which I recommend! Very attentive service.

The food is excellent and the service is also very good a very varied menu to suit.all there is also a very nice atmosphere staff very helpful

Great food as always and great service too. We love this place, particularly their lasagne. We were delighted to find some new dishes on the menu - tried out a couple and were not disappointed.

Very nice enjoyed by everyone who went.The menu caters for a person with allergies. Will be booking again in the near future. The menu also caters for all.

Brilliant service, excellent food. Make sure you're really hungry, plenty of choice and nice sized portions. Not cheap, but worth a treat. Would highly recommend and re-visit. 10/10

Great food and great service. Online reservation was only made a couple of hours before and message hadn't got through to staff yet but they sorted us out a table with minimal fuss.

Food and drink were good overall, service lacking at times but in their defence it was a packed restaurant and we had large party. Would return

Took my friend to Vivos' to celebrate her birthday, it was her first meal there, which she thoroughly enjoyed - excellent food and excellent service from the friendly staff as usual!

Fantastic food! Great service... Just a little noisy with the children in the restaurant. Me and my partner really enjoyed the menu... With special recommendation to the lobster ravioli!

Vivo has never disappointed, the food is always lovely, the staff very friendly and efficient, had a great time as always. We will be going back as soon as possible.

They never fail to deliver excellent food and service. My friends were very impressed as they had not been before all said they would definitely go back and soon.

Authentic food, perfectly cooked at a very reasonable price. Service very friendly and helpful, plus a welcoming environment made all the better with the Pizza oven in the restaurant.

Food was amazing as always but the service was let down a little, this is the first time the service has ever let them down.... Part from that I love Vivo

Great restaurant, had a lovely steak in mushroom cream sauce and gamberone prawns, yum! Spent the whole evening there, very relaxing and enjoyable Thursday eve.

Nice food, I think freshly prepared. Very good service and pleasant surroundings. We enjoyed our meal here, it was booked at short notice and it was good to see that they were very busy.

Overall ok. Over cooked chewy calamari, smelly bad tasting salmon main and tasteless ravioli didn't represent the restaurant well but the staff were friendly and they did let us open a bottle of birthday bubbles. overall a fairly good experience.

Always good, smiling faces been going there years and we have never had a bad meal, can get rather busy though on a Saturday Night

The restaurant was not particularly busy as we booked an early table. The food was good, and the service was good too. It was a pleasant evening, and the first visit for my friend. I am sure she will be back with more people.

It was busy when we visited, and there was live music which was good but it was very loud and we couldn't hear each other talk

Grape at food, good value, speedy service without feeling rushed. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Menu choice suited everyone's taste and the olives were amazing

The food was lovely but the service was a little slow and not very attentive. No one asked if we wanted more to drink throughout the meal. Let the meal experience down a bit, but would go again.

Staff were friendly and it was a lovely atmosphere. Menu could have been better, there wasn't enough choice. Overall it was a nice evening very enjoyable.

Nice place so long as you don't go when there is a rowdy party of blokes that ruin any chance of a private conversation you might want to have at your own table. Need to consider placing a big party in the middle of the restaurant as a BAD idea. If I would go back but will remember my headphones !!

First visit and for the money we spent, not overly impressed. Service wasn't slow but our waiter was abrupt and spoke quite rudely to a colleague whilst serving us. Food was nice but nothing special.

We always find dining at Vivo to be a great experience. Great food, excellent service and a great ambience. A great restaurant in the area.

Great food, lovely place. Very busy but we did not have to wait long for our meal. Service was good, the staff were very friendly too.

Our meal was very nice. However, the service was quite slow. There again we were not rushed to leave. The staff were polite. Would recommend if not worried how long you want to be there.

Pleasant atmosphere staff were very attentive.food was delicious and served hot. Not over priced and a great evening was had by myself and my wife. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening but I am sure it gets busy during pay weeks

Excellent food and service I would strongly recommend this restaurant. Great new additions to the menu interesting good value wines. A good place for families to meet and eat.

Delicious food, good portion size, friendly service and lovely atmosphere. My favourite restaurant easily - never had a bad meal. Can't wait to go again.

Nice food but no attention from waiters or waitresses all night. No-one once asked how our food was, and we were only asked if we would like another drink right at the end of our meal.

Our table was booked for 8 o'clock and we arrived about 5 minutes early. We were told that they were running behind and told to go to the bar and have a drink. After at least 15 minutes with no one apparently serving we asked if we could be served with drinks and there were at least 12 people waiting behind us waiting to be seated. We finally were given our table about 8-25 and our order was taken about 15 minutes later. The starter arrived with the additional garlic bread bit no plain bread, this arrived when the starter plates were collected. After another long wait and seeing people who were seated after us being served we finally had the main course served at 9-50. Although the food was very tasty it was difficult to enjoy after the wait, the wife's pizza was covered in rocket which spoilt it, maybe this amount is normal but it was literally covered and would have benefited from a quick trim with a flymo. We did not have a sweet or coffee and asked for the bill a couple of times, we finally left the almost empty restaurant at 10-45 quite disappointed at the service. I know they were busy but we did not feel welcome and are not planning to return.

An early evening dinner with a friend. The offer of £9.95 for a starter & main or main & dessert,bonus. Food & service was good.

Lovely restaurant with plenty of parking out the front, friendly staff and the food was delicious and not to expensive. Nice atmosphere and lots of chatter
