Took a while to arrive, but the pizza was delicious. Also happy with the fact that they serve mead, which is quite a rare find. Staff was very friendly.

Delicious pizza and wonderful selection of local 'craft' beers at a very reasonable price. Good vegan and veggie options too. Highly recommended. We will be returning.

Slightly disorganised, slightly disinterested service?? Lovely pizza though, great vegetarian & vegan choices too. And good selection of craft beer & wine. Wouldn't rush back but wouldn't avoid!

The pizza was ok, the Honey beer was better. Service was ok, we got our food quick enough to eat there in a lunch hour. I'd recommend 'The Smithfield Meat Market' pizza.

The food is always excellent when I visit, and the staff are really friendly. The craft beers are very good also. Always best to book a table as lunch times get busy!

Great pizza, good beers. What's not to like! Definitely would recommend this place to go out for team dinners or with friends after work. Only service could be a bit more on the ball :-)

Went at 1pm Friday lunchtime and waited an hour. There was a big group and they couldn't cope. Food was good when it came. Also smelt of burnt food as inadequate ventilation.

unfriendly staff, waited 1h before getting our drinks and 2h before getting our food. such a shame, the pizza is really good but the experience was extremely frustrating.

Nice restaurant. Did what I was looking for in that it could accommodate a big group including a couple of kids. The pizzas were good quality, I had a a Soho which was decent but the Smithfield Meat Market made me jealous so perhaps a better option. Interesting selection of beer too. No issues with service, as you would wish it to be - relaxed, friendly and polite.

Lovely staff and a great place for a team lunch. The personalised bill was genius and made paying super easy! Great pizza, and nice selection of drinks.

Had a delicious lunch...easy to choose from the menu without an endless choice of pizza. Any pizza can be turned into a calzone if preferred. Nice atmosphere and great for large group lunches.

The food was great but the service was very slow. We only had an hour but ended up staying for an hour and a half as we waited for the plates to be cleared for ages. The guy serving us was great but he had no help.

Excellent, great service and food, I love this place. The pizza is delicious, really well cooked and a nice selection on the menu, I've had Marinara twice now :)

The service was painfully slow especially considering we asked for the guy to be quick as we only had 45 minutes. the pizza was ok. Then he messed up my bill and over-charged me for service

Great food. Service can be a little slow if they are busy (but that's because there are only 2 people serving all the tables), however the food is great and well worth trying out.

Wedge issue pizza is really tasty and excellent value for money. Would definitely be coming back. Even though the restaurant was full the service was fast on a lunch break from work.

Pizza and garlic knots were great. Really delicious. I didn't get the chance to try the dessert as there was only one waiter and i didn't have time to wait around any longer than I already had.

Brilliant pizza at a great price. The concept that you can build your own pizza with as much of the toppings you desire for £9 no matter what is ace.

We were quickly seated as we were there at the start of lunch hour. The food was ok, nothing special, but they needed more staff when it got busy - I was pretty much forgotten about when I tried to pay and had to wave them down a few times.

The pizza and drinks were great but our service was terrible. Twice we were brought the wrong pizzas, one didn't arrive til the rest of the party had finished (despite asking 3 times eventually it turned out it still wasn't even in the oven), and there was no apology when it did arrive. Our side order was also forgotten. We waited for the bill til most of our party had to leave (about 15 min) then asked again st the counter and was told it was 'busy'. Again no apology when the bill eventually came and we asked for the late pizza to be removed which it was. I would have expected the side and drink if the person whose pizza hasn't arrived to be removed too, as when we realised it wasn't yet in the oven we asked to leave it as we were finishing but it was delivered anyway.

The pizza was great and the serving size was also good. Also, some of the drinks they have can't be found anywhere else. Will definitely go back to try the other pizzas.

The positives: The pizza, base, sauce and cheese was of good quality - the sort you'd expect from any alright pizza place in the capital. Craft beer was good. The negatives: There were very little staff around, the women who served us barely spoke and made more noises than words, not friendly and we weren't convinced she'd even listened to our order. Even on arrival she was not remotely friendly and to be honest looked underwhelmed by her surroundings and situation (probably not helped by the fact there was hardly any other staff!). Worst of all was the craft your own pizza. An absolute waste of money. Pathetic meager scattering of toppings. It did not feel remotely like I'd 'piled tons on' (my intention) it looked like there weren't enough ingredients and so they'd had to ration them out between tons of pizzas. Seriously a huge disappointment and I wish I'd just gone for a cheaper standard margherita, the experience would have been no different. I wouldn't go here again and wouldn't eagerly recommend anyone. if someone asked me how it was I'd say "meh pizzas were ok but the staff were rude and don't do the make your own it's [swear word] and a waste of money'

Our first visit to Wedge Issue was fantastic. My husband is vegan, and it was so nice to have a great vegan option on the pizza menu, plus beers listed as vegetarian! There was a great ambience, super-friendly service, and really tasty food. We'll definitely be back.

Pizza great. Good amount of toppings an cheese. The Calzonne looked particularly goo although I didn't have it myself. Service could be better though and the restaurant needs better ventilation it gets smoky.

Great pizza, good beer selection, would definitely come again. One thing to watch out for: the position on the map was wrong when I looked - it's at the junction between Leather Lane and Clerkenwell Road.

Delicious pizza with creative topping suggestions, appropriately named after different areas of London such as the Billingsgate for a fishy theme or the Smithfield for a meaty one - or create your own at no extra cost. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere and excellent, prompt service.

The pizza was great, fast service and liked the unusual drink menu- although they were run out of rhubarb yesterday. It was quite noisy, we could hardly hear each other at a table next to the window and we had to shout.. The open mic was a bit disappointing- the acts were focusing more on bad language and the coming&going audience rather than entertaining.. The upstairs noise was disturbing downstaurs as well- it should be separated somehow.

An hour before we saw any food. I think for group bookings they should take your order in advance to avoid any delay. It was a satisfactory experience.
